It’s several years since we last visited Milford so it was great to find this bar had opened since our last visit. Whether you want a beer at the end of a hot day or a little more sophistication by way of an evening bottle...of wine this is the place for you. Add in the nibbles and tapas selection and you can’t go wrong. There’s a good selection of ales and lagers and an even better selection of wines. Drink in or carry out. We visited the place twice during our 3 day stay at a place a short walk away and we’ll definitely be calling in again when we’re staying in the area.More

Super friendly. No reservations needed. You can just rock up. We liked being able to select a bottle of wine from the shop shelf. Had an amazing range. Wine was airated which was a lovely touch. Gorgeous wine glasses.Food was delicious. All covid safe. Especially...the toilet. We will be coming backMore

A friend came over from Lymington . He says we have better bars and restaurants in Milford than they have in Lymington. We both especially like the Cave and the Wash House. The Cave has a new and larger choice of tapas dishes divided into...fish/seafood, meat and vegetables. We had Swedish meatballs, chorizo in Rioja,Spanish tortilla and Chilli king Prawns . All came with toasted bread and were delicious. I wouldrecommend you come along and try this Great New Menu. The Cave of course has an excellent range of wines but this time we went for the Peroni served in a frosted glass and a delicious cider. The young lady that served us and whole team made the visit enjoyable . We are so lucky to have a place like this to go to in the village . Our friends from Lymington were Jealous. Keep it up the Cave.More

Visited a couple of times this week whilst we were staying nearby. Fabulous choice of wines and tasty sharing plates. Very good vibe - would be dangerous if closer to home! Can’t wait to return.

Hi Happiness Thank you for your review. Trust me, i know it would be dangerous, after 7 years of ownership, my body screams at me every week. However its my job to taste the wines, RIGHT???? See you next time you're in Milford

We visited twice whilst staying in Milford for a weeks holiday. As the weather was good on both occasions we sat outside at the designated picnic tables on the green which was lovely but the atmosphere inside was also great. Definitely worth a visit .

Great anti pasti sharing platter. Lovely location and friendly. Highly recommend for a meal, a drink or just to nosey around the wines on offer!

Plenty to choose from here - I visited for a takeaway beer to go with the fish and chips from next door. Nice atmosphere inside - didn't see anywhere similar nearby so was unique in the area too. Enquired about coming in for food another...time and staff member advised it was walk-in and no bookings taken - but he didn't seem the most friendly and didn't convince me to go back! Local beer I had was nice and there were plenty of options available, whatever your preferred tipple! Good choice for a drink stop and their food looked good too - both available to takeaway I believe.More

Visited on a day when it was chucking it down. Greeted by the owner/manager. We ate a combo of cheese and meat platters with Northern Spanish non alco beer and Palmers (local) ginger beer and one craft beer. Yum yum. Attentive but not intrusive service....Very Covid conscious as this was and indeed is a busy tourist destination. Did the trick ...good grub and good beer. Thanks.More
