fantastic produce, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean and cared for area. Our delicious food delivered to us in a mountain of plastic...plastic carrier bag, plastic boxes and cups, plastic cutlery all wrapped up in a plastic sleeve. Surely we all know that plastic is posing...an extreme environmental situation for our planet. We all must do what we can to look after our planet. Knitsley Farm you can do better.More

Lovely Farm Shop with top notch quality food supplies. Lovely food, fab chips. The slope down from the carpark is very steep and difficult to negotiate both up and down if a person has mobility problems.

As you would expect from a farm shop this has delicous snacks and a lovely atmosphere when you sit outside. There is a lot of room between tables and the way that the food is served from a hatch is very clean and safe. The...shop is more like a supermarket with fresh provisions of all sorts and also Covid safe. We will be visiting regularly when we are here on holiday.More

We visited during our week’s holiday, only wish we’d visited earlier in the week as it was fantastic! Such a selection of meat, cheese, bread, baked goods, lots of jams and pickles, fresh fruit, veg and eggs. The staff were exceptionally friendly. We bought pasties,...steak, sausages, quiche, cheese and cakes - they were all delicious. We didn’t go to the cafe however it looked really nice and they seemed really on top of things cleanliness wise. Well worth a visit.More

Booked a table in the outdoor snug, just in case the weather wasn’t good. Luckily great weather, so transferred to a table under the sunshine. Meals ordered at the counter, once they’re ready you collect them from a little hatch, when your handheld machine buzzed....All food served in disposable cartons, so no need for plates. Drinks also served in disposable cups. Great choice of foods available and very tasty. During our stay, lots of people picking up food to takeaway too.More

We travel from Whitley Bay to this lovely farmshop/restaurant and enjoy the food. We thoroughly enjoy talking to the lady on the deli counter. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she makes wonderful sandwiches. We will be returning soon.

We bought fillet steak, bacon and sausages there. The fillet steak was superb - the best we have had. In these worrying times it was reassuring that all possible Covid measures were in place.

Visited Knitsley farm shop today, one day after they opened. The shop has changed and in my opinion for the better, it’s been rehashed and boy is it good. Perspex barriers have been installed to make it safe for the staff and customers, I don’t...know who constructed the barriers but it is a professional set up, really good quality. The selection and quality of produce was first class as were the staff who were pleasant professional and happy. Clearly alterations are taking place to also improve other areas such as the Resteraunt, if they are as good as the shop I can’t wait to try them out. On top of all this we have really good quality food. Can’t wait to go backMore
