Intrigued by the name, we decided to go to this particular "market" where we found a very warm and rustic ambition at the same time. We purchased many local products, from sausage to potatoes, cheeses and legumes. We decided to have dinner choosing from the numerous menus offered and from the multiple cuts of meat displayed in the two butchers located inside. The dishes are very generous and well cooked.
We were 3 families with children and teenagers in tow and taking the impossible we paid around €70 per family. They offered us coffee and bitters.
Staff always friendly and helpful, particular praise goes to Germano Maria Chiara and Daniele who were able to advise us on the menus and food we purchased.
I will definitely be back next year!!!

Beautiful marketplace with great atmosphere. You can eat and drink in a nice looking marketplace with multiple different food stalls. The products are all local and typical from the Sila area. The service and hospitality is perfect with staff that makes you feel welcome. Would definitely recommend the local produced beers and amaro! Perfect location to have a lovely evening out for drinks and dinner.

Guided by reviews we chose this place for lunch between a visit to the Giants of the Sila and one to the Cupone park. Characteristic location, you sit in long characteristic tables and immediately the staff sets the table. With the QR code you choose the courses from the menu and order at the checkout where they give a device connected to your order that alerts you when the courses are ready. So you go to the various stands as a Point of Sale to pick up the platter of cold cuts, drinks and then the dishes when they are cooked.
Meat of both podalica and super super good black pig. Typical impacchiuse potatoes not to be missed, first courses with mushrooms or suckling pig ragout also amazing, seasonal fruit and homemade desserts (ice cream and tarts of various flavors) delicious. Highly recommended!

We had lunch in this place choosing one of the proposed menus, certainly the raw material is excellent and the courses were appreciated by all members of the family. The menu included an appetizer in my opinion a little disappointing for the quantity and variety and not properly compared to the price. Even the first was a bit ‘scarce.Leaves to be desired even the chaotic and messy service, the fact that it is a self-service generates confusion also you do not have time to finish a course that already rings the device to warn you that the next dish is ready. A little too much running I would say. The music is pleasant but after an hour especially if you are in company it starts to be quite annoying. Appetite not fully satisfied if compared to the price but still we will return maybe to find and try something that satisfies us more.

I honestly as a Calabrian living in Calabria, I still do not understand the management of the restaurant that now 90% of the premises implements: exaggerated prices low quality. The place is very nice and quaint, cozy and with a wide range of products, but the quality of the food is not the best. Caciocavallo sandwich: two slices of melted cheese as thick as a thin 10 grams each thrown into a sandwich with two badly made potatoes. Hamburger sandwich that maybe at McDonald's paying half is better. Grilled vegetables practically cut raw and put on the plate. But let's move on to the top: you have to explain to me how you attract the vacationer with the famous MPACCHIUSE POTATOES, the iconic product of Sila, one of the symbols of mountain cuisine; if you throw in a plate 100/200 grams of potatoes made also terrible (I attach photos of what remains of an inedible plate), which you pay no more than 50/60 cents per KG, and you have the courage to sell at 4 €! With the addition of something you get even 6-7 € per plate for four slices of potatoes soaked in three fingers of oil. Promotion of products and territory on the contrary. BRAVI!

As far as the food is concerned, nothing to say, but for the organization it is better to draw a veil of mercy perhaps better three veils.... no respect for those who have not booked they just accept people, then your problems.... In the The room inside is fully booked but anyway they tell you to eat the sandwiches you can sit outside. The best thing comes when you're out at a table shared with others and the waiter comes to tell you that it's booked and then your ignorance kicks in and you get pissed off especially after you've seen the receipt and for a sandwich on a plate and a napkin, which doesn't give you the right to a seat, they made you pay €2 cover charge per person.....Anyway the important thing is to cheat the customer and make money then the people make do. A unique disorganization. A course on what market catering is wouldn't be bad, but yes, the important thing is to make money.

Went on the basis of all the gloaming reviews. Apparently the best in Camigliatello. While the scenic inside was very attractive, the tasteless food was a big disappointment. The idea of the market food used to prepare a typical, local produce based meal is great, the result is really disappointing. We have not found here the tastes and the smells of a genuine calabrian cuisine. To the owner my advice to focus more on the quality rather than presentation and range of the offer.

We had dinner in this restaurant two nights in a row, although calling it just a restaurant is an understatement.
Entering the Silano Market you will find yourself in a very welcoming and well-kept place, you can eat excellent dishes and purchase excellent products guided by the always courteous and helpful staff.
Part restaurant, part gastronomic shop with excellent products.
The first evening we had dinner with two 'I Giganti' menus, a platter of cured meats and cheeses and Podolica Florentine steak, all accompanied by 'mpacchiuse della Sila potatoes, grilled vegetables and tomatoes
Excellent cured meats and cheeses (note of merit for the raw ham), SPECTACULAR meat, perfect cooking... thanks to the hot plate, the tastes of all the guests were satisfied.
The second dinner, still full from the previous evening's banquet, we took two 'Vaccaro' menus, a platter of raw ham with truffle burratina and grilled cheese accompanied with 'mpacchiuse' potatoes.
Even in this case our expectations were not disappointed, everything was excellent.
For us it will be a fixed stop in future visits to Camigliatello.
SEE YOU SOON!!

It sometimes happens that while passing through Camigliatello I stop and feel quite good... but what happened today, Sunday 8 October, seems incredible to me... mushroom festival and high flow of visitors... rightly so. booked, the tables were all occupied...and I was happy with the takeaway sandwich....surprised on the receipt instead I found the place settings marked...considering that there were 7 sandwiches...so 14 euros more...I ask justification for this oversight... and I was told that today it was like this... that in any case the sandwich was served in a handkerchief and on a plate... and this justified the cover charge..... even if we didn't have a table.... I find this truly absurd.... truly the best way to lose customers.... at least I... I felt cheated.... especially when the gentleman at the cash register told me he said he would buy me a coffee...

Great atmosphere in this place just adjacent to the main street of Camigliatello. Well organized with tables in the center of the room and food stands around, this place pleasantly surprised us with the kindness of the staff and the quality of the typical Calabrian products. Excellent grilled meat, packed potatoes. Fried mushrooms and desserts!
Also worth going there because you can buy typical products such as dried mushrooms, 'nduja etc
I highly recommend

We chose this place because we were intrigued by the location, which is truly characteristic. Two adults and two children, the menu allows a wide choice, with different combinations capable of satisfying everyone. The excellent food, even better the welcome and customer care in choosing local dishes and wines. In the end, more than full (dinner including home-made ice cream and coffee and bitters), I bill €100.00. Overall, highly recommended!!!

We came to this place thanks to word of mouth from those who already knew him.
From the outside it is an anonymous place where a metal structure stands out that recalls a Christmas tree, illuminated, and a large open space.
You should know that if Klaus did not live in Lapland, he would definitely choose Camigliatello as his home.
But returning to the market, as soon as you enter you will discover a large living room with rustic wooden furniture and long tables, so if the lycalenfosse were full you could be alongside people you do not know.
For me this is an advantage because the watchwords of the place are cheerfulness, hospitality and inclusion.
At the sides of the hall you will find typical shops, with cheeses, sausages and fruit on one side and the kitchen on the other.
But the highlight, gentlemen, is the kitchen.
Portions are plentiful, quality excellent and prices reasonable.
There is a swarm of guys working there, all cheerful.
And then if the music they pass is tarantelle, vinicio, bennato, I think that in addition to klaus, redemption in this place I will also ask.

Very particular location where you can taste traditional Silan dishes and tastes. The main feature is to enjoy the dishes at long wooden tables all attached which can recall village festivals or family meals. The menu to be read via QRCode has different combinations of local cold cuts and cheeses combined with first and second courses suitable for all tastes. The staff is very helpful and attentive to customer needs. Decent local wine list. The quality of both the first and second courses is good. Selection of homemade desserts. Around the tables there are stands selling typical local products. Average price for the quality offered

I went for lunch, Easter Monday, nice location, terrible culinary experience. The cold cuts and cheese platters were quantitatively limited and the flavors weren't that great; the hamburger and the potatoes in the sandwich were of low quality and poorly cooked, the fries with their skins among the worst I have ever tasted. The clow arrived with tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (cold and some mushrooms with hints of acidity) and fried porcini mushrooms, roughly chopped mushrooms, clearly defrosted and full of water and then fried in too much breading). The only positive thing were the sausage sandwiches and the courtesy of the staff. High price especially in terms of quality/price ratio. The fact that there were a lot of people cannot be an excuse for what was reviewed.

Very informal place, outside a warehouse inside an indescribable chaos. Food not of good quality and very expensive, we took tagliatelle with mushrooms: tasteless, raw and cold, the mushrooms almost non-existent, at the modest sum of 15 euros per plate. Never to return again!
