Look - paying $800 Australian (including tip admittedly) for a degustation wine and food menu is a pretty steep price. But hey, how often do you get here? This was one of three Michelin Star ridiculously priced restaurants we went to whilst in Donostia-San Sebastian...More

Wow - where to begin! Lunch at Martin Berasategui was flawless. We have been to other three-Michelin star restaurants and this was by far the best because Martin Berasategui is incredibly thoughtful about the entire dining experience. Service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly...More

The staff goes beyond friendly, in à way that makes you feel truly welcome. Not in a fake way, like in so many orher fine dining restaurants. Best staff ever! The food is amazing, and a few of the coarses stand out, like their signature...More

3 hours into the tasting menu and I still wanted more and not because I was hungry. Each dish had its own unique flavour, presentation and wow factor! Even the bread and butter was divine. Ultimately you can’t describe the brilliance of the dishes, only...More

Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Usually, even at 3 star Michelin restaurants, there are always a few mistakes in the service or the food, but here there was none. Zero. This had never happened to us...More

This is the first restaurant ever that noticed I'm left-handed and layed the table accordingly. The same eye for detail in the food. Light, airy, perfect sauces, never too much, always so very well balanced. A lot of fish, pure tastes. No frills, nothing to...More

We couldn’t come to the basque region and not try this 3 Michelin star resto, and it didn’t disappoint. Fine dining, with local ingredients. The tasting menu is mainly fish and vegetables, though if you’re a meat lover the al a carte provided the meat....More

Menus are the same. For me better would be dinner as the ambiance with candles and relaxed evening is great. But especially if you take the tasting menu come prepared (hungry and with time on your hand)
