The hotel was, not a long time ago, a covent of nums and still, you can see and touch the old window that was the way for being in contact whith the people. It´s a beautiful building 350 years old. The stonework and woodwork are...beautiful. The restaurant looked nice. The bar is also really nice.More

Highly recommended place for a family meal where to relax and enjoy the local cuisine with your beloved ones. The service is very attentive and the food superb. Decent prices for a high quality meal, all made with local products.

We had lunch here, a very excellent bean stew (soup) with some meat and it was really excellent. The building, an old monastery, was also fantastic.

This is a hotel in a beautiful building. We had a little problem in that on booking.com we booked a superior double - when we arrived we were shown to a standard room with two single beds. We explained at reception and were then given...the key for a standard double (two twin beds together) on the website this is not a superior double. However quite a queue had formed at reception and we decided not to make a fuss as the lady was at this time running both reception and the bar! The room was fine. Bathroom functional and clean. The building is spectacular though and it is 350 years old this year! The stonework and woodwork are beautiful. The restaurant looked nice but we ate elsewhere. The breakfast had a huge choice of food, pastries, bread/toast, jams, honey, meats, cheese and fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal. They also cater for allergies, there was lactose free milk. Their evening menu caters for coeliacs and vegetarians. I'll attach their current menu. The bar was also really nice they have a huge gin selection and also specialty teas.More

The Hotel San Roque is converted convent, the interior is creamy stone and exposed beams. We were there for a business lunch. The menu of the day had a good variety and everyone liked what the ordered. Service was very attentive by Spanish standards. An...English menu was available.More

We had a menu on a very hot Summer day. Rice, meat / fish and cheese cake. Everything was delicious and served at good rhythm. We truly enjoyed it and will be back for sure next time we are in town.

It's a gem. Food was great. Service was excellent and they coped with our lack of Spanish. Wonderful converted convent with Basque menu. Tables outside for pre-dinner drinks. Only downside was the wrought iron uncushioned chairs!

We ate here (and got the room package). The food was authentic, for sure. No big menu - you get what they're serving which, for us, was great. Fish fillets and chicken; plus nice salad and tasty bread. I don't know much about Spanish wine...but this bottle was really good.More
