A lovely outing for a Saturday morning Breakfast/ Brunch, that takes you out of the everyday rut in Gauteng. A 40min drive from Tshwane & you walk into a quaint little gem of a town...
Tasty food, Great service by Rodney & reasonably priced. Lovely venue with a misting system, to keep you cool, when the Africa sun comes down.
Definitely recommendable.

Second time in 2 yrs I had banana and caramel pancake and again disappointed. Pancake some places thin and cooked and other places thick and raw. For whatever reason the ice cream had no taste and I am still trying to figure out what the caramel was as I have no idea it was 4 nail size blobs of brown. Also ordered a plate of chips for R25 and received a side plate with some chips including a brandy and coke special with 15% tip total of R245.

We visited this place with my 7 and 10 years old girls as well as my wife. Waitresses were welcoming and friendly, not busy sunday so we got outside table with shade - just fantastic, drinks order was quick and food as well. Pleasant lunch. Highly recommend for family.

Nice spot in the center of Cullinan. Food was average with decent prices. Lovely staff and family friendly.

Ordered the calamari special for R169.
Very disappointing value for money.
Definitely not a special.

Good shade, beautiful flowers and pleasant fountains made for a lovely spot on a hot summers day.
The cuppacino with freshly baked scones and waffels were delicious.

The historic town of Cullinan has some real gems for having a meal. Whispering Oak offers a cosy setting, hospitable service and a delicious English Breakfast. “Bubbly” Aggie was our very friendly and welcoming waitress. We were promptly attended to and had an enjoyable Saturday morning experience.

Enjoyable lunch during our three days in Cullinan. Tasty food, great service & loved the (I believe were ‘Zimbabwe’ cotton throws) over the seats in the garden. Gave the restaurant a cosy relaxed atmosphere. Cullinan had wonderful surprises round ever corner. The residents at every venue made our stay very memorable, thank you

The service was friendly and the waitress was very patient with my young companions. The food was tasteful and the portions more than enough! Good value for money and tables under umbrellas creates a great atmosphere.

Our waiter was very efficient, our used dishes were rapidly removed. Pricing was okay and the food, especially the burgers and pancakes went down well.

After a four and a half hour tour of the Cullenin diamond mine I stopped here for some coffee and what I thought would be a light pastry. The waffles with caramel and banana were enormous and quite tasty. Coffee was good and service was fast and friendly.

We stopped here yesterday to have lunch....what an awesome treat especially with the misters going on a super hot day. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Our food was absolutely delish. My husband had a hamburger and I the biltong salad....fresh and so tasty. Loved how most of the meals are served with a fresh garden salad. After a walk around this quaint historical village we went looking for a good cup of coffee and a sweet treat....Guess what....we ended back at Whispering Oakes. A sweet ending to a lovely day.
My only negative feedback is that although there are no smoking signs up certain people were smoking and vaping ..... most off putting and against the law. 🌻

We visit Cullinan often, and have had breakfast at a few different places. Whispering Oak Garden Cafe surprised us with a fantastic garden ambiance and a nice breakfast. We will stop here again.
