A business trip to Gorenjska

I visited a bussines partner in Kranj and we visited the Dvor Jezersek hotel and restaurant for lunch. Very nice renovated old farm near the airport.

Pleasant surprise

Excellent experience. Food, service and atmosphere are great. We ordered tartar, steak,delicious “smorn” and “potica”.

Worth the money

It was a business occasion in this beautiful place surrounded by nature. The chief Luka is well known for his food skill and ideas. Food was delicious, very kind and professional waitresses. Definitely worth the money!

Great food in a warm environment

The restaurant is placed in a very nice surrounding of this mansion. It serves very locally inspired food in a simple 'homey' atmosphere. The food was traditional Slovenian with a modern hint, and the menu is very cleverly prepared. The service was also extremely nice...and the wine recommendation was excellent.More

An amazing "tasting" experience...

Lacks flavour

I was very keen to try this restaurant due to the excellent reviews it has been getting. First the good news. The restaurant itself is pleasantly situated, the service was excellent the menu very interesting and the prices very reasonable. We chose a variety of...dishes ranging from the rather unusual to the more standard. Everything was perfectly cooked (the escallope was rather average) and beautifully presented. The chef is obviously well trained. Unfortunately each dish was tasteless. This was a great disappointment and I am at a loss to explain this. I cannot, therefore, recommend this restaurant.More

Doggy bag

It looks like when the boss is not around the food gets very plain and tastleess. The chefs are loking on their mobiles instead of cooking. The famous food "jetrca" was uneatable and sour. I asked for a doggy bag for our pet, if she...will like the leftovers. I got a fancy dogy bag with inscription "to good to leave it there?" But nobody ask me why I didn't eat the food.More

Excellent restaurant near Krvavec

It is excellent restaurant near Krvavec. It was awarded best Slovenian restaurant, near Ljubljana in 2018. They serve variety of dishes and very good Slovenian vines. I have tried very good soup and liver stew.

My rate would be 4.6 out of 5

Always returning. Nice place, very good food with local ingredients, nice wine list. Not only must stop if you are passing the area, but for sure a place to visit even you are not close to Cerklje.
