This restaurant is situated in a fantastic position on the beach at Paternoster. There were very few diners so little atmosphere! There is a small focussed menu and the pricing is pretentious - but the service was courteous and knowledgeable. My vegan risotto was well...presented and the vegetables were brilliantly cooked. The seafood linguini had plenty of fish in it and was also very tasty.More

We dined at Leeto several times during our recent stay in Paternoster, each time the food was superb, beautifully presented and the service fantastic. Highly recommended. Do book though, as it was always full for dinner.

Leeto is situated in Paternoster, and has a fantastic view of the ocean. Walking into the restaurant with its all white walls feels smooth, and simple and delicate. Living in Johannesburg, I couln't wait to order some seafood. We ordered some West Coast Oysters and...they were fantastic. Fresh, tasty and succulent. For mains we ordered the Tiger Prawns and the Sustainable Fish. This was... Okay. The flavour profile of the food is a bit too simple for my palate. I had hoped to experience some bold flavours or anything that made me feel like we were at a fine dining establishment, but this was not to be. For dessert my partner ordered the Amarula Creme Brulee and I ordered the Chef's Choice, basically a mix of desserts. That was the winner of the day. We went on boxing day and our service was extremely slow, our waiter was not attentive and there were many moments where we were left with dirty dishes in front of us for extended periods of time, not something you want when you are at a finer dining establishment.More

Out of the world experience. The food is amazing. The staff wonderful. The ambiance out of the world and the location perfect next to the sea.

We visited Leeto whilst staying at Yzerfontein so it's a bit of a trek (about an hours drive !) but we were so pleased that we made the trip. The location is stunning with incredible views across the beach, the food was excellent as was...the service. We ordered the risotto, tiger prawns as our starters and then fish for our main courses. We loved the Donkiesbaai Steen white wine which was great with the fish. The only down side was that load shedding hours had increased that day which resulted in a four hour blackout and this caught the hotel out with regards their generator. I can only imagine how difficult it is for businesses to manage around load shedding - unfortunately the staff didn't think to tell us this was the reason why it took around 50mins for us (and everyone) to get their starters. They did apologise and didn't charge for our desserts. The bill came to R2,000 including service, water and coffee. Overall a fabulous meal and we would love to return in the future.More

A truly lovely dining experience. The setting and views were stunning. My husband and I both had the seafood linguine, which was exceptional. The kingklip pieces (and other seafood) in the pasta were cooked to perfection. We had a great Swartland Pinotage with our meal....It was so great that we stopped at the wine farm on our way back to PE and bought a few cases. The dessert was also amazing! The staff were attentive and lovely and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. I loved the chef’s use of organic and sustainable produce and his inspiration by and support of the local environment. Loved our dining experience. It was a date night of note. I would definitely go back.More

Exquisite setting on the outskirts of Paternoster. Beautiful restaurant and then the food🥰 I chose three starters and each dish was exquisitely prepared and presented. Even the toasted bread offering with a lightly flavoured butter was so delicious I asked for seconds. Was travelling solo...and the staff were so friendly and other patrons . I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling to Paternoster!More

Very stylish and upscale restaurant that serves excellent food and wine. Staff are friendly and attentive and the venue is beautiful especially if you reserve a table at the window with ocean view. Perfect to enjoy a Gin Tonic while watching a sunset. For food...my recommendation would be the seafood linguini. Lots of seafood in there. Wouldn’t really have missed the Linguini :-)More

Leeto was our final choice in restaurants for our three night Paternoster stop. A gastronomic delight, 5* menu and wine choice, with the best overall service we have enjoyed in a very long time from their pleasant, and clearly well-trained team. Leetos is not inexpensive,...yet we felt we definately had value for our meal last evening. Sadly, the total lack of ambience, choice of hospital-grade cafeteria furnishings with no table cloths even, detracts from holistic enjoyment of an evening, and sadly does nothing to compliment the chef and service team effort. Patrons direct view into the kitchen, and the acoustics also a downer.More

I would give this place 6/5 if that was possible. Beautiful location - the sun was shining but the south easter was howling, but the way the building is position and built, you get maximal view and enjoyment whilst being shielded from the wind. We...each had 3 courses and they were not only beautifully plated but also absolutely delicious. They have the perfect balance of fresh and hearty. The selection of dishes is great (for meat, fish and veg). Wine list (as well as the selection of spirits) is very thoughtfully curated. The service was friendly and very professional. Completely worth the price tag. It was a splendid day out.More
