Parents wedding anniversary dinner

On the celebration of my parents 50th wedding anniversary and with my brother from Cape Town we made a booking. A nice table was for four was allocated. We ordered various dishes including steak, seafood and pasta. We shared the starter platter meant for two, but made it work for four. Everyone enjoyed their meals and food is of a high quality with a great and affordable dry red wine selection. My parents shared a desert which was really good as well. Service was excellent and we made to feel at home with a special happy anniversary message on black board at our table.

Very impressed with the service

We went here last night with a party of 8, for a goodbye dinner. We made a booking and even though we arrived 20 minutes late there was no problem. We were seated at a nice table, in a quiet area of this restaurant which was actually very busy (parking was tricky actually, maybe something to keep in mind). The menu has great choice and everyone loved their meals. The Italian staples are done well, and there are also some more adventurous choices like the Nacho Libre pizza. The gelato was the real thing - normally it's just ice-cream that they call 'gelato' on the menu. What really stood out for us was the quality of service. Our waiter Tonderai was so accommodating and took care of us throughout our meal, keeping the water jugs topped up, checking in with us and even being kind enough to take pictures for us (multiple times during our meal, once we figured out how good he is at photography!). Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Escaping the heat

Escaping the city heat, headed a little way up the hill to Westville, Pizza special with beer or house wine , well priced, good atmosphere and a lovely cool breeze on the veranda. Staff friendly and attentive. we all had the pizza special, very filling, thin base, enjoy popping in here from time to time

Disappointing

Went for our Anniversary dinner, and had a terrible experience. Risotto Ball Starts arrived on time and were fairly good however that’s where it ended. Took nearly 40 minutes after starters for mains to arrive despite querying what the delay was. Who wants to wait so long between courses? I ordered the T bone which was a special - the only description I can give for the T bone is HORRIBLE!!! Asked for Medium the steak was well done, tough, dry and basically uneatable. My wife’s pasta was enjoyable. Management didn’t approach the table to ask how our meal was, maybe knowing what disappointing food they had served.

Great food.

I had a pleasant experience at lupa. The food was amazing. They do cater for vegans, however there is as little as about two options. I would recommend this to anyone that wants good food with a chill atmosphere. Reservation can be made . Staff is friendly and always happy to assist.

Gastronomic delight

Lips has become a firm favorite for many locals and travelers. You will find a very comprehensive menu with good choices for most palates. The atmosphere is great and the feeling is very homely. You are greeted with warm friendliness and the service is good. Well worth a visit when in Westville. You will not be disappointed.

Superb service and delicious food

Pleasant business lunch

Best Gnocchi in CT

Very Disappointing

I hosted 4 people and sadly 2 of the main meals had to be returned. Not a recommendation at all! The food was covered in salt, the calamari and chicken so tough and un-edible.
