I previously reviewed this spot in 2017:
"There is a pub next door where one can watch the rugby on Saturday afternoon before going to the restaurant to enjoy one's meal (pub still there & great).
My favourite dish is the prawn pasta (no longer...since they now have smaller bowls to serve the pasta in & the portions are smaller)...
... while my wife's is the fillet steak (she had the lamb chops three nights ago, they were ultra thin & full of fat. The manager advised, after checking, that nearly all the cuts were the same. He did, however, find three "better" cuts & grilled them for her at no extra cost).
Our girls enjoy the pizza (seems to be the only "value" meal left)."
I dislike complaining and would rather just not return to a restaurant that's heading this way, unless I go for the pizza.
This is a pity since we've had many fantastic meals at this spot & enjoyed their food at a special function at Country Club.
For parents with young kids, the safe play area is a blessing.
Some of the waiters have become friends.
Safe parking outside.
The ambiance inside and out is better than most spots... just a pity things have got really "tight".More
