Nice coffee shop with excellent friendly service. Coffee was great; we opted for cheezies with bacon bits - the portions served were great, and the food very tasty. The shop is situated in a nice garden with large trees - well worth a visit!

We used to love popping in for coffee and a sandwich over the years, and the old restaurant was a chatty meeting place for visitors and locals alike, always with little things to tease the girls to buy, and children's laughter in the background. We...stopped over because of these fond memories on the 14th Dec., but found the restaurant almost completely empty of stock, no-one eating there and we left with a feeling that perhaps Covid had done serious damage to the old shop. We hope you can soon pick yourselves up Jackelberry and return to your former glory. Good luck, we will try again sometime.More

Jackalberry has got new owners. The little shopping thingies are all gone. Menu has changed as well. We thought we’d first have milkshakes. They were watery and not what we’d expected.

This place has a very relaxed feel and a friendly staff. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious cake and coffee while our kids played in the garden. We would highly recommend the peppermint crisp cake!

Having finished a lovely trip in the Kruger, we stopped off here on the way home.it is a wonderful little sanctuary, hidden from the busy road by beautiful tress and lush vegetation. Such a nice surprise! It is very welcoming, quaintly and quickly decorated, offering...a super variety of drinks and snacks including delicious cakes. I thoroughly enjoyed my banana caramel, pancakes, which were hot and crisoy! Great coffee too! I will definitely be returning here one day.More

Staying with friends in Marloth Park, we stopped by for breakfast. Loved the quirky decor and the menu that provides describes some of the local history. Inside has a real "cave of wonders" atmosphere. Big cups of coffee and a comprehensive breakfast menu (we didn't...look at the other meals) - my wife had a massive plateful of eggs, sausages & beans while I went for french toast. Both were cooked perfectly and come in good sized portions. There is also a selection of home made cakes - my wife fell in love with the Milk Tart, a South African speciality.More

This is a good cafe to have breakfast or brunch in summer or the end of winter because it is the outdoor seating that is nicer. The indoor is very cozy, but rather cramped with shelves of all sorts of art & craft and bakery...stuff the are trying to sell. The menu has a good variety including Banting diet food. I had Banting style omelet and my friend regular South African breakfast with meat & sausages. They both were good. Service was friendly and good. We will be back.More
