I had been to this restaurant several times and tried a chop menu, now they no longer have it and have focused more with a large selection of paellas. I was also able to eat a chop made by me on the stone and I was able to taste several vegetable-based dishes from their own garden that were incredibly good. Good service.

Delicious food! The goats cheese starter was to die for and beautifully presented too. We had the peeled paella and I must say it was so yummy! I am not a shellfish eater normally but I devoured this with its prawns & calamari (hubbie ate the mussels). Generous amount of seafood & meat.
We accompanied this with cava sangria which was a revelation!
The homemade flan & pannacota were also delicious and a lovely light end to our meal.
Very attentive and friendly waiter/waitress too and we were kindly given a complimentary x2 shots of Spanish drinks.
Fantastic meal all round & very pretty location looking to sea too.

Went to Lasarte on our first night in Spain, the service was amazing and the food was noteworthy, our 1st real paella. They had service in Spanish, Russian and English.
Went the next day and the staff went beyond any of normal expectations to help me fix my locked iPhone. Also had a G&T and some snacks.
I would eat there again over and over.

Very expensive for what they offer
6 croquettes €18.50
Organic salad €17.00 with rather tasteless tomatoes from their garden. The salad only had tomato, onion and yellow peppers and some small red ones.
Half a dozen squid at €16.50
The bread with tomato was €3.50/serving and it was hard as a rock
The children's menu, which is not a menu because it does not include drinks or dessert, was 3 pieces of breaded breast with potatoes for €12, there was no other option for children
The entrecotte and the steak for 2 were correct but for €29.50 and €55 respectively I expected much more. That's if they take it practically raw so you can make it to your liking on the stone.
They told you about the desserts at €6.50 but without a clear price... those things should be on the menu.
The place was good but personally the quality-price ratio does not correspond at all

The food was bad, the distribution was a real disaster, we had to share space with two filthy, heavy smokers.
By the way, we were with three babies. I don't know, maybe a little education or consideration on the part of management wouldn't be bad.
I don't recommend it because of this nonsense that I think is allowed to be eaten with smoke for dessert, main and second.
It's disgusting for a restaurant that pretends to be respectable.

Blind mixed paella 20.5 per person 61.5. To take away 38 euros for the three of us. What is the reason for such a difference? Because of the terrible service??? Mulled wine and loss of quality after 14 years knowing the place

Ужасное место. ( Цены очень высокие, порции очень маленькие. Рёбра ягнёнка просто обугленные кости. Не ходите сюда!
Awful place. Prices are very high, portions are very small. The lamb ribs are simply charred bones. Do not go here!

We stopped in here for a lunch whilst driving from Nerja to Andorra. The town is close to the highway and on the beach etc.
We picked this restaurant based on TA ratings etc and it was directly on the beach.
We decided to share a 2 person Paella, I discussed with the waiter the Mixed Paella - I have a shellfish allergy. He assured me that the shellfish would be excluded, wasn’t sure about content in the sauce though. We took a chance. (He later popped back to say there was shellfish in the sauce and they would only use a meat based stock - this was well managed).
When it arrived - it was all very decidedly salty (so much for the meat stock), the fish (unknown white fish & squid) was very “fishy/smelly” and rubbery, and also contained some mussels !! Seems they use frozen prepacked shell / fish parcels for the Paella, and the chef didn’t bother picking them all out... really!!!
Needless to say we were both suffering from stomach problems all the way to Andorra (5+ hours).
The decor etc isn’t great and needs a serious overhaul.
The service wasn’t bad overall, and hence the 2 stars.

Service was really nice, family and child friendly.
We ordered some Calamares a la Romana for the entrance. The texture was different and surprisingly good.
For the main dish we ordered a Paella Mixta and a Fideua. Both were really good. The paella comes 'clean' which means you don't have to peal the seafish.
The bread was also great.
And finally they gave us some free liquor.
Overall a really pleasant dinner near the sea.

We had the set lunch. Five courses, no less, and each one of them absolutely delicious. It's not simple food but it's not fancy either. Just very good ingredients verey well cooked. And including a glass of wine each the cost was twenty two euros, which is really rmakable value.

Front line with ocean views, great service, friendly staff, tasty food, amazing presentation in every dish and decent prices. You can immediately tell the kitchen counts with professional chefs from the details in each of the presentations for every dish. I strongly recommend any of their paellas. Even without ordering it in advance, you can turn up and wait for merely 20mins to have your freshly made paella. Specially recommend the black squid paella and ananda rice. The terrace is very wide with more than enough tables, but, as expected from such a great restaurant, reservations are recommended. I have a flat nearby, so lucky to be able to eat at Lasarte every single day! A definite 'must' if you are in the area

My husband and I visited on the basis of the reviews on here and I have to say we weren't disappointed with the paella, we had the calamari and Valencia rice and both were delicious and well cooked.
The paella came out in a traditional pan and was a huge portion for just two of us to share but was lovely. I had a glass of white wine too which was also very nice. I was slightly disappointed when the bill came that they had charged us €3 each for bread which they had brought without asking and as I don't eat bread had I known they were going to add it to the bill I would have requested that they didn't bring it.
Overall it was a very nice meal, the terrace is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by but although not extortionate it's not a cheap eat.

Great food and really excellent staff. Make sure you order gin and tonic because they are huge. Foodwise go for the croquettes and the black paella.
