Spectacular restaurant in Oropesa. We went for lunch one day and repeated the next day.
To begin with, the attention of the waiters, super professional, detailed, very human. Always looking out for us. Bryan and his entire team of waiters, cooks... a 10!
People with a great desire to work and a beautiful project who did not hesitate to start a nice conversation with us.

My husband and I were on holiday, driving from Barcelona to Valencia, so as lunch time was approaching, we decided to stop by the coast, to have lunch somewhere nice before continuing with the drive.
We had ordered a starter to share, a bottle of wine and one entree each.
When the bill came, we noticed that two side dishes had been added to the bill. We thought that it was a mistake, so we called the server to rectify. The head server came, apologised and offered to call the server that has taken care of us, to understand what went wrong.
When our server came, he said, very bluntly - that he had taken the liberty to add one side each, to complement the entrees that we had selected, otherwise they would have been too dry...
That was a pack of lies, as the dish that my husband had selected “camarones con vegetales” was coming with veggies already, as the name suggests.

At that point, we asked to the head waiter again and she, very apologetically came back and said that she had enquired with the manager, but since the manager is new and young, he doesn’t know how to deal with customers properly, so he had refused to take down the two unrequested sides. What a joke!!
At that point, we paid for the full amount and left.

Firstly, we would like to thank you for your visit and we are glad you enjoyed our food.
Secondly, we would like to apologize for the misunderstandings that might have happened during your lunch in our restaurant. It is very important to us that every client leaves satisfied (regardless being a tourist or not), we are very proud to say that we are professionals and no one is treated differently.
Regarding the side dishes being charged separately, in our menu even though the plates have the side dish mentioned in their own names, we decided to lower the price of the dish and to charge the sides separately, as not everyone might want them, and that is why the misunderstanding might have happened. It was our mistake if you were not warned that the side dishes were charged separately, because we always give that choice to the costumer, so for that we would like to apologize.
With that being said, our side dishes cost about 3 euros each, so this 12 euros mentioned must have been a mistake, and the manager of our restaurant, even though it’s true he’s young, has been the manager for over five years and is truly devoted to giving the best service to the costumers, and having this issue arrived to him, he did say if he would have been at the restaurant at that exact moment, he would have not charged you for the sides if you weren’t warned beforehand, those 6 euros wouldn’t have made a difference.
