The perfect dinner in every aspect. Restaurant located in the historic center, a pleasant and quiet environment, super attentive and perfectly coordinated staff, the combination of ingredients very original and the presentation of the dishes impeccable.
Medium - high price, suitable to what you offer.

It is with great pleasure that we returned to Casa Encesa a year after discovering this superb place, a very friendly and quiet restaurant nestled at the top of the old village. The cuisine is a pure delight for the taste buds, everything was perfect from starter to dessert, perfect cooking for the foie gras, prawns, meat and we were very well advised on the choice of wine. A big thank you to the whole team for this wonderful evening.

Not much needs to be said about this place, it is spectacular! It is not low cost, but the quality of the food is unbeatable, and the care with which they treat the product is also difficult to beat. The turbot we ate grilled in the
moment, great falls short. They do not have a very extensive menu, nor is it necessary, in my opinion a place to return to again and again, despite the price and the fact that the menu is not very extensive, if you live in Oropesa or the area, I would go once a month Sure, since we don't live here but we do come several times a year, well as I said. The spectacular atmosphere, the incredible attention, and the place that must be preserved no matter what. We will be back.

Restaurant with an original and careful menu. Tastefully prepared dishes not found in other Oropesa de Mar restaurants.
We liked him very much, we already knew him and once again he did not disappoint us
We will come back and recommend it.

We have been travelling to Oropesa every summer for the last twenty five years, but only discovered this gem last year. Located in the old town, up winding streets, it is a small restaurant so I strongly suggest reserving a table. The food is varied but everything we tried was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back next year.

Last night we had dinner and as always everything was exquisite. Every year we go several times. Excellent cuisine and products, good service and treatment and a charming location. Without a doubt the best of Orpesa.

If you are looking to have an authentic meal of real Spanish food of the tasty sea food, fishes, salmon, olive oil, salads, grilled artichokes, with genuine wine .. this restaurant is a strong recommendation. The restaurant is very nice, clean, wonderful down to earth and supportive staff, and very lovely place.

Great! Tasty, different food in Oropesa. Best option? Sharing different dishes!
Escalibada, kokotxas, tataky, bacalao...

We went on holidays for a week in Oropesa and was referred this restaurant by a local. Located in the old town near the church and surrounded by cute traditional houses and stone walls in a car-free area, the place delivers a perfect atmosphere for dinning with your couple, friends and even alone.
Quite often it is difficult to have a fulfilling dinning experience in beach towns in Summer. In our case, we enjoyed so much the food and the experience the first night that we repeated every night during our stay, tasting almost every dish.
If I have to pick a favourite I would probably chose the canelones (caneloni), the terrina de codorniz (quail terrine), and the pluma iberica (kind of pork cut) with potato, sweet potato and mustard cream. The different kinds of croquetas (croquettes) are all amazingly tasty, creamy and relatively light. Among the best croquetas ever.
The restaurant has a wood-oven, so the canelones, spinach/pumpking lasagna and baked veggies have a great taste. The beefsteak is also cooked to perfection and even the foie (not one of my favourite foods) is nicely combined with onion jam, fried egg and laminated chips (not oily, for a change!). The pork cheek stew was also good, the morcilla de burgos (kind of Spanish haggis) with roasted peppers too, the different fish dishes... Although we were told to try their home made desserts, we couldn't make it any single night because of being too full. But they look scrumptious.
Prices are reasonable, portions good and the staff is very eager to help with explanations and ideas for wine pairing.
The team is small and they know what they are doing. They stay humble and that adds to the good feelings after the meal.

I stayed in Orpesa del Mar during the Benicassim festival. This restaurant was recommended by the person we rented an apartment from.
The menu was completely in Spanish however the staff were so helpful and explained the entire menu. The dishes are tapas but are made to share between 3/4 people.
The food was the most amazing food I have had in a long time and definitely the best tapas I have ever had. There was a lot to choose from, so much so that we made a return visit the following week.
The restaurant has a beautiful roof terrace and had a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Nice place with good views and exquisite food, the staff treatment a little rough and rough... (if it weren't for that excellent restaurant).
As for price quality, a little expensive although the food is good.
Without a doubt, I would return for the food, but for the treatment of the staff, the first thing they tell you is that the kitchen closes at 11 p.m. and I could think about the price…
