This restaurant has a beautiful setting on the ocean side. The food is really good - we had the pasta vongole, salmon carpaccio and the grilled fish! All delicious!

A classic and delicious restaurant with two big terraces/balconies over the Adriatic sea. The food is very good and the atmosphere and view it’s just amazing. The staff is very kind and always there to recommend a dish. I ordered the prawns with vegetables as...an antipasti and the linguine ai frutti di mare which were super tasty and the portion was very generous. A MUST if you are staying in Santa Cesarea Terme or nearMore

The food is pretty nice (I recommend the penette al salmone) but the restaurant is quite dirty. In the 45 minutes we were there we seen several cockroaches, a centipede, some woodlice, mosquitos and fruit flies. It’s a bit expensive but overall I’d say try...it out, just don’t be surprised if you have some uninvited guests on the floor around youMore

We were four American travelers on New Year's Day. We were told that we had snagged the last reservation and I believe it. The place was completely filled and we had a makeshift table for four. It didn't matter. No menu. We sat and immediately...they started bringing food; and didn't stop till almost three hours later. Unbelievable quantity and quality. Two of us are big eaters and we couldn't have fit another bite. Three bottles of wine, four bottles of water, grappa, coffee - prix fixe - 50 euros a head, including service and tax. Well worth it. A memorable meal.More

Ok, first the food. Was very good. My swordfish wasn't overcooked for a real change, and the accompanying salad was actually very good. Mrs D8 plumped for a seafood soup as a starter, which you will see from the picture wasn't exactly a soup. It...was an enormous plate of seafood, with a smidgen of sauce. And apparently it was very nice. Her main course risotto with prawns was also pleasant. Couple all that with a nice location, decent wine choice, and going armed with a bottle of DDT spray to tackle the mozzies, all went very well. But, of course, nothing in this part of Italyl goes without a hitch. That came with the menu prices. Mrs D8 was given a menu which was seemingly identical to mine, but with prices that were 40% lower in some dishes. So she chose appropriately. However, it seems that I was given the tourist price menu, and she was given the 'obviously not a tourist' menu. But the final bill was... you guessed it ... based on the much more expensive tourist price menu. Luckily the difference want huge, but was at least 13 euros. Which of course would have been roughly what they could have received as a tip (but of course, in this case, didn't). So how can you ascertain whether you get the 'sting the tourist' menu or the 'you're obviously from round here' menu prices? Well, if you look at the fish soup price on the menu...if its €25 then congrats, you've got the tourist menu. If it's €15, you've got the local menu. But don't fret. If your Italian is really bad, you'll still get charged the full tourist price even if they mistook you for a local when you first walked in and have you the wrong menu. Ditto the prices for various other dishes, such as risotto or pasta (€15 vs €12). Apart from this annoying issue, the food and restaurant were well worth a visit for the seafood, the location and fact it's the only restaurant in the town open after mid September that you don't have to eat s pizza at to get something decent.More
