Diner late Saturday night. Friendly staff. Had the Wahoo Cayman style. Small portions but very well done. Bring your own alcohol. Liquor store 25 yards away. 3 people 3 mains and appetizer with 3 sodas $75 USD. Little on expensive side vs expectation but a...cool spot.More

After reading some reviews and asking our tour guides from Captain Marvin’s what they thought about Heritage Kitchen, we decided to try it. Our guides, Keith and TJ, said Heritage was one of the best kitchens around and I would agree. First off, the smells...coming from the kitchen are mouth watering and the relatively short wait is worth it! I had the fried ham and it was wonderful and I typically am not a ham fan!! She served it with a small salad, rice, veggies, and fry bread. I would also recommend trying their hot sauce which was homemade. The food is amazing, very reasonably priced, and worth the drive to West Bay! Just don’t forget they take cash only.More

So disappointed in the quality of food. Maybe it’s not our style of preparation. Friendly staff, casual place where you can bring your own beverage.

We kept hearing about this little place. We found it and loved it. The fresh catch everyday, made the ‘island way’ The price was so reasonable. The service was great. Sitting at picnic tables with other customers was more like eating with family. Highly recommended!

We went to catch dinner at 5:30 which was too late - they were out of most of the meal choices. We had wahoo and snapper. We really wanted to like this since it is a locals place and all the reviews seem to rave...about it. The fish is prepared so that it is very "crusty" on the outside so it makes it difficult to get to the "meat" of the fish if that makes sense. Perhaps that is the "traditional" manner for preparing fish. The people working there are wonderful and it was VERY busy with "take out" being picked up. I would try it again but GO EARLY for the best selection.More

This place is located on the waterfront in West Bay. The location is nice to sit and watch the water and enjoy the view. That’s about where most of the good parts end unfortunately. The food isn’t bad but it’s nothing special at all. The...fried grouper ($12CI) was a touch overdone and again, just average. The pineapple grouper ($12CI) was made with onions- lots of onions. It’s a piece of fried grouper with a 95/5% mix of onions to pineapple. The onion taste is overwhelming and really distracts from the pineapple. Rice was bland. The fry bread was excellent. Conch fritters ($10 CI) were average to good. I completely understand that there are chickens everywhere on this island but the roosters and chickens filled that small space where you are trying to eat - and you just know that scat is all over the tables. Lastly, the lady running the food stand seemed typically rude while taking our order - annoyed at questions, repeatedly spoke fast so that it was hard to understand, and looking around as though to be bored with us. Then a bit later she is smiling with customers and asking how the food was. Advice to her - smile and be nice while taking a food order. Be friendly and respect your customers. I hate to be so harsh but it was truly a disappointing stop compared to the reviews.More

As the other reviewers have said the seafood dishes are very good. 9 of us went there for dinner. We all had a fish dish but one who had stewed chicken. It turned out the chicken was more like a chicken carcass that had already...been picked over. Guess I would suggest sticking with the fish.More

A very small place with outside seating. We ordered 5 seafood dishes. All served with rice and salad. The food is good but the fish was all a touch overcooked. It should be noted that there are numerous chickens scurrying about the picnic tables.I saw reactions vary from amused...to horrified.More

The food was authentic, but I found it a bit expensive for what we got. It is a cute place to check out.

Great local cuisine at a reasonable price. Casual with picnic tables outside of this bright, cheery eatery. Expect to wait some as your meal is cooked to order and it is island time after all. Peaceful views of the water. If low tide, take your...food and picnic in the sand or in the wall steps across the street that looks out over the expanse of the sea. We had coconut grouper and the Grand Cayman style grouper (tomato base sauce), along with an order of must have conch fritters, if you are drinking beers. Service was friendly and with a smile!More
