I really like Chicago cemeteries in particular Graceland. The main entrance is located on Clarck and Irving park. You can take the Clark 22 bus to get there or take the Red line to Sheridan and front there walk a few blocks. The cemetery was created in the 1800s so It has tons of history. Famous people like Geroge Pullman,...
It's hard to believe that this peninsula is so we'll hidden in the middle of a city. Montrose avenue deadends into a fishing and boating community that happens to be home to a bird sanctuary complete with beach and a paved breakwater walkway. Free parking available on the peninsula's drive.
Located up north it’s a great Brie for music shows. We saw Galantis - an EDM duo and show was second to none. Acoustics and space was ample and had good logístics. Bathrooms available and bars on all floors ... great place

This is a HIDDEN TREASURE in Chicago that so few people know of. We came here for Open Chicago and it was delightful to see everyone's faces just mesmerized by the huge train set. It is open on Friday nights and also on November 14th for an Open House. GO!!!
Nice pizza restaurant in north side of Chicago. Sometimes the waiting time is a little too much for a restaurant that is not in a best location, but i guess people love there pizza. My favorite is Margarita. Enjoy
When I first moved to Chicago almost seven years ago, I had the good fortune of selecting an apartment within a five minute walk of Hopleaf. Since then, many of my fondest memories come from visits to Hopleaf with my friends, family, and regularly just myself. This place is a rare gem, the food is great (the frites are addictive...
We ordered for family style meal with 8 types of dishes served on injeras. All the dishes were delicious. Do choose the recommended dishes by them. Also recommend sambusa sampler. Don’t miss out the appetisers and Ethiopian coffee.
Today started as any other day would start with me looking forward to the bongo room for yummy waffles and mimosas for my birthday. My 90-year-old grandmother was visiting Chicago for the weekend and when we pulled up to the handicap spot there was a Porsche parked in the yellow striped area. My grandmother had a hard time getting out...
Brunch is amazing here. Great service but always a wait. They only accept cash but it’s worth it & ATM is on-site. They have low carb benedicts too. Great server & kept me in coffee. They will do side salads instead of potatoes. I loved the omelette & you choose your own fillings. Huge though- be prepared.
We had to go to Chicago this past week and did not want to stay downtown. I found this hotel and was very impressed. We reserved a 3 bedroom suite. It was beautiful. The kitchen is fabulous. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were great. We were about a 10 minute Uber ride from downtown. The rooftop area at...
