Located in south São Paulo, Vila Mariana is a nice residential area with plenty of businesses, recreation centres, hospitals and restaurants. Joaquim Távora is an up-and-coming nightlife spot, with trendy restaurants and bars. The cultural centre SESC Vila Mariana offers interesting architecture and a variety of activities for the public. You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike share stations and ride along the neighbourhood's streets to get a sense of this pleasant area during the day. The area around ESPM, a school for publicity and marketing, offers a collegiate ambiance with busy cafes and pubs.
"An expansive collection, well spaced with good views of Sao Paulo from the rooftop"

Built in 1963, and located a short walk from the park, Museu de Arte Contemporânea (MAC) offers free admission and an expansive collection of works from Brazilian and South American artists. Spread across four floors, plus a rooftop featuring panoramic views of Sao Paulo those interested in culture should not miss an opportunity to visit while even younger guests should...
"Enjoying Art Displays and Even More So The Panoramic Views!"

…………There are loads of free parking on the grounds of this museum and on top of it there are manned security gates. When we visited here it was a public holiday in Sao Paulo so it was very full. The building is modern and very big and nice. Lots of contemporary art to see although not been art experts we...
All about it is 5☆! It seems though staff a bit in the weeds. Although it was a great experience, one can sense a bit
rushed when there is less people on the floor. I work in the service industry as well. Don't take my impression as an staple for this great locale. It is an input for improvement.
"If you love Uruguayan cuisine, this is the “one”, my friend."

What to say about this place? Gosh, I can’t stop eating there 🤣
They have the best Uruguayan meat in São Paulo, el bife ancho 🥩, w/ chimichurri - my favorite.
I must have tried all the available foods in the menu so I’m kinda suspect to say, but all of it, desserts, empanadas, typical beers and the wine list...
Met a friend in São Paulo who told me that this was the best pizza in town. I haven’t tried all the rest, but don’t need to. Quintal do Braz was delicious! The bread with sausage to start was hearty, with good olive oil and rich sausage. We had the Caprese pizza. The mozzarella was in large creamy dollops. And...

"Good but expensive"

It’s definitely an experience, unique restaurant, very themed in every way. You can play around with the decor such as swords, you can play videogames. The menu is fun to read, try ordering a drink by rolling the dice, definitely worth it. But the drinks and juices are rather small for the price.
Modern hotel building not so far from the shopping street of Av. Paulista. Large room and very cleaned. Warm atmosphere with a friendly staff that offer a special service and support. Great gym area and perfect breakfast.
"great location, v nice hotel, good staff, decent breakfast"
reviewed 15 October 2019 by TheGringoInXalapa
stayed for 4 days and like the hotel, clean, large rooms, pushed 2 twin beds together to make a kingsize, breakfast reasonable but too much bread stuff. gym has nice view, real wood sauna that gets hot
Friendly staff, but the room sparsely equipped. What I missed most was reading lamps above or beside the bed. Very unpractical if you like reading in bed - which I do. Great breakfast selection with lots of fruit, different types of juices and the rest.
Dont not stay here, especially if your tourists! We arrived and Rodrigo had cancelled our reservations without informing myself and travel agent when we arrived to check in! Very unprofessional stating emails went into junk when clearly these has been communication previously from emails of confirmation when we booked hotel last year and still charged us for three nights untill...
I wouldn't pay 385 reais for a room alone, but the whole experience was nice. I stayed at room 1706 and I have no complaints at all. It was comfy and very clean. The view was great for a Sao Paulo hotel and the meals were ok. It is so sad though that some people are living on the streets...
