Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
Very nice. We were taking a walk in the downtown area and spotted this just as it started to rain. Very big and nice interior. Would recommend a visit if in the area. Be a bit careful as some of the homeless nearby were using it to relax!
"A neoclassical chapel at the end of Avenida Paulista!"

Strolling along Avenida Paulista, a small neoclassical chapel will catch your attention: the "Paróquia São Luís Gonzaga", a Roman Catholic Church. The Jesuit priests of the Society of Jesus built the church in 1935, as an annex to their traditional school, the so called "Colégio São Luís". A peace haven at busy and crowded Avenida Paulista: a quick stop, a...
I first order Gulab Hari during this pandemic Era and had a wonderful experience. They have a great variety of food. The Dahl was great and the delivery system very good.
The price is right for the portion size.
Ah, the restaurant has different menus for each weekday.
This is a "must try" kinda a place.
There are lots of really good Italian places to eat in Sao Paulo, but for service, food and wine, and antipasto you cannot beat Famiglia Mancini.
From the minute you drive up you are greeted warmly. Once you enter, relax and enjoy the fact that you take all the time you want to enjoy friends/family amongst warm surroundings and great...
It is part of my weekly routine - at least one lunch here. That’s the only true Mexican restaurante that I know in São Paulo, eating here brings me the taste of eating the good tacos outside the office in Mexico City. Also the service is always consistent and good.
I had very good experience with TRYP Sao Paulo Paulista hotel. The services were very good. Staff was polite and having knowledge of english. I would suggest to have more Vegan menu options, as I am Vegetarian. But overall experience was really nice.
The F&B area and food itself is great. The rooms accommodation is fair for the price, it not a new property, Accor Hotels started to manage the property recently, I was informed that they be under full rennovation soon. That is good, I strongly recommend to change all rooms doors for a acoustic proof model.
Booked an executive room (1 king bed) with sofa bed but when checking in the receptionist asked whether I want 2 beds room, but without telling me that would be a superior room with 2 single beds, which was a room category downgrade. Although the price difference was small, I did expected a bigger room.
The staff here didn't speak...
The hotel is in a good and safe location and near to a number of good restaurants. Breakfast was also good. However, the room furniture was a bit dated and no drinking water is provided. The TV did not seem to have any English speakig channel news.
Very nice hotel, excellent location, it has a wonderful heated swimming pool available all year. The bedroom was nice, large and comfortable. There is a restaurant and room service available. Breakfast is included.
