Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
Been many times first as a couple, rest with many guests. Arms and leg wraps provided if required. Start at the top and work down. Dont forget the stairs up to the garden at the top to start with. Never tire of the garden, top floor and ground floor.
There was a ceremony going on so we didn't feel comfortable entering the temple but there was lots to admire from outside. On top of the temple sits 6 tiers of brightly coloured Hindu Deities, making it one of the most impressive looking temples I've seen.

Just within 5min walking distance from Chinatown MRT (Exit A), Temple Street (just beside the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple) has amazing wall murals that will capture your attention even from afar. Definitely great for anyone who likes to know a little more about the country and the local Chinese culture with some visuals. Great for photography as well.
It is definitely my few other visit back to Cure.
Cure is definitely one of the highlights along Keong Saik Road. They take great pride in their consistancy on their quality of food & service. Not to mention... wide selection of cocktails & wines!!! Dimly lit & cosy, this is a great place to bring your date, your spouse or...
We had an amazing birthday celebration dinner at Chef's Table on 7 August, 2020.
The wonderful journey has started from reservation stage, staff paid great attention to every detail of our preference and dietary requirements.
We took the 8-course set dinner, every dish came with pleasant surprise.
Special thanks to wine sommelier who gave us fantastic recommendation for our champagne,...
First dinner out post-circuit breaker, have been meaning to try this restaurant for years but difficult to get a booking. Glad I jumped on the chance when restaurants were allowed to reopen here. Excellent and filling 5-course dinner, enjoyed every course. Thoughtful and well balanced, hope to return here again - menu changes monthly. Barramundi popcorn was a real treat,...
One of my favorite bars in Singapore! Deliciously unique assortment of signature cocktails within a comfortable and cozy ambiance. The owner is one of the most impressive people I've met in Singapore - he sincerely cares about his guests and constantly strives to improve the experience at J&H. Looking forward to coming again!
This place is so calming and beautiful. Love the ambience, the food, the service....everything. Had the deluxe rosti set and it was yummy. Even thinking about it makes me want to have another bite. Glad I stumbled on this cafe becos I’m definitely coming back ❤️❤️
Very spacious clean rooms, comfy beds, big bathrooms, a reasonable sized fridge, kitchen area with accessories. Their staff is very friendly. They are always ready to help you. Also very quick check-in.
Ann Siang Hill was such a breath of fresh air, even though it's situated at the heart of Chinatown. It was a one-night staycation, but I thoroughly enjoyed the decor and comforts of the room. The old world charm is something you have to experience for yourself in their rooms. Each room has a different layout, which adds to the...
What a delightful hotel to stay in, with wonderful friendly staff especially Rozie, always there with a smile and so helpful. A great location, with a good choice of restaurants and bars on your doorstep.
We stayed at Six Senses Duxton as the final stay on our way home from a 4 week holiday. The hotel interior is decorated luxuriously and tastefully in a colour palate of black and yellow. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by friendly welcoming staff before being shown to our opium suite. The room was lovely and comfortable,...
Finally staycation was allowed after few months since the Circuit Breaker started. Hotel Soloha is one of the few hotels here that get to reopen.
We booked the standard room with no window. The space is small but compact with everything we need.
As the room within the centre of the building on the second floor, it seems like our...
