Chanced on this masjid which was about 10mins walk from my class at the National university of Singapore for my prayers. It doesn’t look much like a mosque from the outside as it seem very open. It’s amazing how they are able to have such a large praying space on such a small, odd shaped plot.
Charlotte was great and informative both about the food and the neighborhood we walked around. I would recommend discussing what foods you don't like and what things you are most interested in. We don't eat pork and did not inform her in advance so she had to change the venues mid tour. We tried great things like paper chicken which...
Was in the area and decided to drop by this place for an early dinner. As we had our fur kid with us, we sat outside. However, as the sun had not yet set, it was a little glaring though the awning was at its maximum.
The place looked cheery like its Sister restaurant Fresh Fruits Lab in Geylang. Not...
Our friends suggested this place as an out of the way, something different experience.
Went there today Sunday, 13th Jan at 1pm. Not many people, relatively quiet and peaceful. They have a foosball table and a mini pool table and few other games. Nice deco. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Drinks are pretty cheap and value for money.
A friend brought me to this restaurant after our gym session. Apparently it has been there for a long time. I have been to this place for the prata, Thai food and nasi lemak, but never this restaurant.
It’s inclined towards North Indian cuisine. The naan was tasty and complemented the chicken korma really well. Love the onions in the...
I was hungry in the middle of the night and off I went to Fong seng to get a packet of mask lemak.
The food was good especially the chili sauce. The rice was pretty lemak as well. But it seems that it’s getting more and more expensive these days. Two small kuning fishes, two scoops of peanuts, long beans...

I would not recommend staying here unless you are doing something with the National University of Singapore, NUS. It is at least 20 minutes from the closest MRT stations, and it’s difficult to catch Taxis out front. The staff were friendly enough, but didn’t go out of their way to help us. The price is definitely reasonable for Singapore, but...
Needed to find a hotel around the NUS and NUH area to take care of my son who got into hospital. The friendly counter staff Herri and Jessica were helpful in administrative issues such as extending stay.
This hotel is convenient if you are attending to some events in NUS or the western part of Singapore.
A pretty small hotel but adequate based on the price paid. Not recommended for families as they cater to short time booking of the rooms as well; by the hour rates. So I guess many couples visit this hotel for a...
