"Ordinary exhibitions. Small space. Unknown artists. Inexplicable cover charge. "

As of November 11 (perhaps bucking the trend of the 11/11 sales), Deck now has a nominal entry fee. This will hopefully spell the end for them.
I do not have anything against Deck, but I am yet to see the value this space brings to SG arts. At best, a driveway to drink overpriced beer in.
Judging from today's...
Lots of Asian foods available here at very reasonable prices. Try the fried carrot cake which actually has eggs in it for some protein. Quite delicious with onions. Dark carrot cake is the same as the white version with soy sauce added.
I've walked passed this church many times but never really paid it much attention before. Constructed in the 1930s it's a fairly average looking brick building. I am yet to go inside. The outside can be admired sufficiently just by walking past.
Visited Soi Aroy for the first time on the basis of reviews here. Not disappointed. Two f us had the four signature dishes on the menu (taster size) plus mango salad and a couple of soft drinks. All four signature dishes were absolutely delicious and more than enough for lunch for for two. Served rapidly, by friendly and professional staff....
We stayed here for 4 nights, rooms are clean and nice, but small as most of the rooms in Singapore. Hotel had swimming pool and gym on the 3rd or 4th floor, which was quite cool. As well, breakfast was included in the restaurant next to the hotel. I would like to highlight that service was perfect and Anuar, was...
Enjoyed my stay at this Hotel for 5 nights.
Value for money.
Walking distance of 5 mins from Rochor MRT and Little India MRT.
Ten mins walk to Bugis and Little India, in separate directions.
Room was spacious.
Good restaurant and bar options in the courtyard.
Breakfast buffet restaurant was crowded and because it was in a narrow space. it...
Booked a night stay at this hotel, arrived at 4pm but only get to check-in around 6-ish 7pm. Reason for the long wait because the hotel has just been given approval for staycation and they received overwhelming reservations. They were moving the long staying guests to another floor and the Housekeeping team needs time to turn over the rooms and...
We just had a great 4 night stay in a 2br apartment. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable and nice rooftop pool. Some renovations were underway but that didn’t really affect us. Excellent location right at MRT station on Downtown line with taxi stand right out front, lots of food options close by including a couple of good gluten free options...
This is 2nd stayed here. I recommend this hotel due to reasonable price in Singapore, near from MRT station (5 minutes walking to Bugis stations), easy to find coffee shop for breakfast.
Room size same as mostly Singapore hotel but clean and quite (my room).
Recomend for you who looking for hotel near Bugis market area.
