I visited the Central Sikh Temple in an evening. The temple is very close to Boon Keng MRT and bus stops. The temple is beautiful from the outside and majestic inside.
All age groups are welcome here. We got a chance to attend a public food festival, organized every weekend. The food was very nice and fulfilling.

Stumbled upon this hawker centre when I was trying to find my way to the MRT station. Nice chicken rice (one of the best I've tried on this trip) and friendly people. This neighbourhood is not touristy at all so you could ensure what you enjoy here is authentic local fare.
