This mostly residential neighborhood is known for being the home to the Korean mega-conglomerate, Lotte, including its popular amusement park, Lotte World. The amusement park is a top attraction for families, youth, and couples, with rides, shows, attractions, an ice rink, and more. Lotte’s expansion in recent years is spearheaded by the soaring Lotte World Tower. The Charlotte Theater nearby regularly hosts popular musical productions for culture lovers while outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy taking a stroll around Seokchon Lake or the immense Olympic Park (built for the 1988 Summer Olympics) close by.

the highest tower in Korea, you can see Seoul from the top. it really deserve a visit.
however, consider the queue on the elevator to the top floor. I suggest that you just go after opening time in the early morning so you can avoid the waiting time.
I really liked the gift shop on the top floor.
We went to the Lotte World Tower on our last day as we had some spare cash to spend. I thought it was a little expensive for a ride in a lift (around 25GBP) but I have to say that the views of the city are stunning and the beginning of the trip is quite spectacular.
We bought the package of the aquarium tickets together with the admission to Lotte World. We decided to visit the aquarium first as they do not allow rentry at the Lotte World. The aquarium was located at the other side of the Lotte mall. The aquarium was new and well space out onto two floors. As with all aquariums around...
This is an artificial lake in Seoul. Watching calm water, it's good to stroll around.
- Famous for its cherry blossom blooming in early April.
- Warmer than other areas in winter.
- There are ducks and geese. People love to watch them.
- Good to visit together with Lotte World or Lotte Tower.
I visited Lotte world on a rainy day & the outdoor park was closed, but luckly it had indoor park was ineradicable huge park. For indoor park you can have great park for adult and children, different kind of activities were available.
I had to choose to visit either ''Everland'' or ''Lotte World". I chose to visit Lotte World as...
I had lunch at STAY and it was beyond the most comfortable dining experience I’ve ever had. Service was beyond what was to be expected all the waiters were on point when it came to their attitude and you really could tell they were proud to serve that food. The food! I had vegetable consumé, fish mousse (which doesn’t even...
I've eaten at several of this franchise's outlets in other countries, but this was the first time i was unhappy with the experience. Authenticity varies from location to location but usually the food is at least adequate. Not this time. The food was overcooked under spiced and very over priced. I'll not be going back here.

I stayed at the hotel during the Corona virus outbreak. Aside from the great location, beautiful room and view, wonderful breakfast I was treated excellently by all the staff that were there for me with every question I had even provided me with masks for the stay. It is also very easy to reach from the airport.
I loved using the jacuzzi tub when I arrived after my flight and long morning before checking in. The room was very comfortable and walking distance to the train station and restaurants/shops. I would recommend this hotel.
Stayed here with my husband on a business trip. We had a lovely large room with every mod con including electrically operated curtains and blinds!! Good coffee and tea in the room. A bit out of the city, but pleasant walks in the woods nearby. Super restaurant . Taxis into town are not expensive.
