Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

It can be a little difficult to locate the monument - you need to cross the road in front of the Parliament building and to go to the Danube Bank. there you will see 60 different pairs of shoes - from fancy shes to worker and even kid shoes. next to it there's a small information plate. It's very powerful...
This is a great place to experience real "old world charm" in Budapest.
The building is breathtakingly beautiful inside and out, and should not be missed.
Great café, and a chance to get a good feel for it, without "breaking the bank".
My partner and I had a fabulous time at CCS. From the moment we walked in, relatively late and into a busy place, the staff welcomed us and made us feel genuinely well looked after. We were told to expect a wait of 10 minutes and were seated after about 2, well done for exceeding expectations!
The generosity of Roberto...
"Overall lovely restaurant but food was a bit hit or miss"

I always try to find a fine dining restaurant in each city I visit especially one with a vegetarian menu option hence I found Baraka. Some of the dishes were amazing but some were lacking. But overall the atmosphere was nice, the service was excellent, and the owner even came and talked to us for a quite a while.
We arrived at Budapest on the 15th of December, after checking in and our accommodation we were strolling around looking for a place to eat.
What good luck we had in finding Luvky 7!!! We were welcomed in a very friendly manner and the service was impeccable. The food and drink came very quickly and the burgers were divine! I’d...
This hotel was everything we could ask for and more. We were on a mother-daughter trip and after a week on a river cruise spent our last 3 nights here in Budapest. The room was lovely and spacious - early check-in was available at 1030 which was outstanding! We made use of the travel buddy cell phone and thought it...
The Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace is a beautiful Hotel. The rooms are exquisite and view is simply grand. The front desk staff, Andrea the Guest Relations Manager, Peter the Chief Concierge and his team have been unbelievably helpful and solicitous. We are convinced that this hotel is a tough act to follow. We will definitely return!!
Perfect location for the Christmas markets, restaurants and Budapest attractions. The hotel has a stunning reception area, lovely furnished and decorated bedrooms, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. What more could anyone want. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Just got back from staying at the Parlament and don’t normally leave reviews but as hotel was so wonderful wouldn’t have been right not too..
Hotel itself was lovely and modern and spotlessly clean... The hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.. Breakfast was really great too and a very good selection of items. Having the jacuzzi and sauna...
Nothing bad about the ritz but it wasn’t a five star hotel. Would not compare it to the other five star ritz of the world. For Amex plat holders, did not get an room upgrade but got the breakfast and dinner credit. Paid for a club level room but would not suggest the club level since offerings were minimal. Food...
