Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
This a must walk on any visitors list, (between the chain and Elisabeth bridge), we especially loved doing it at night, with all the lights reflecting off the Danube, There is a few sculptures along the way, to keep the walker entertained.
We couldn’t afford the room rate, so we had to settle for afternoon team stead.
Very good value, nice setting. The food was very good and quantity was plenty. Staff is very professional and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, right in front of the bridge.

The tasting menu is imaginative and very good and the wines are unusual and innovative. But what really sets this place above the competition is the genuine interaction of the hosts. The frontman is Igor, a young and passionate restaurant manager who loves to explain in detail each element on the plate or in the glass. The open kitchen allows...

Found out about this restaurant here on TripAdvisor. Now I understand why it stands in the first place with 5 stars.
I came here for a late lunch with my girlfriend and we were amazed from the beginning. Best service we’ve ever experienced, caring and smiling waiters and truly delicious food. Definitely coming back for another meal once we’re back...
Lovely, just wonderful view from the sky bar on the Cathedral, and when those bells are ringing you feel like in a movie setting!
The personnel is very kind and helpful, the venue itself - wonderful.
The hotel lobby is exquisite..the idea of a piano keys flooring..super!
Gotta check it out!
We stayed in the hotel for a total of 5 nights but the first night we already complained about the room temperature (26.5 and not working airconditioning) after that we switched rooms same issue... But we thought let's wait until the morning.
We talked to Barbara at the reception about it and she arranged a new room where the air...
Stayed in this comfy and trendy hotel between the Christmas and New Year period. The rooms are a little small, though it is explicit before you book. What makes these rooms great is the level of cleanliness and modern touch that make staying in it very practical (i.e. spacious shower in a small-ish bathroom etc.). What further adds to the...
Our stay was very pleasant. Nice and clean room, Excelent food and service. There could be a little more main courses on the menu, but that is all I can suggest to improve. Great location to explore the city.
Our second stay at one of our favourite hotels, our room was amazing with a fantastic view across the rooftops of Pest. We are always bowled over by the brilliant staff, who cant do enough to make your stay the best. When we got to our room, we had been gifted some sparkling wine, fruit and chocolate, a lovely surprise....
