Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
"Majestic and hilarious, the 3rd biggest parliament of the world"
reviewed yesterday by Melinda B
If you have booked an advance visit of the parliament you will be guided through it for 45 minutes (after a safety check). It is really worth the time, money and energy, the building is unbelievable beautiful, you can have a look at the real chamber of parliament and the guides tell you a lot of anecdotes in connection with...

This was the most moving of all the sights I saw in Budapest. Its important to see in order to understand the history of the city and what its inhabitants have been through.
Short walk from parliament buildings
Was in Budapest in early August. The city is beautiful. The Parliament building at night is not to be missed. And when it is hot during the day, the front of the building has misters in the pavement that go on and off during the day to cool you down. It's fun to watch the children running around in whqat...
When you go inside restaurant you are like going in an environment where all are your friend's. Very good Italian food, perfect pasta. I enjoyed every minute there.

Very good experience.
Having been in Europe close to two weeks, I had a craving for Chinese food. Saw this on TripAdvisor and took #2 tram over. After maybe a five mins walk, I found this cheerful looking Chinese stall and headed in. You get to pick and choose the ingredients you like and the chef will cook it right before you. Food...

Me and few friends went here three of us ordered the 3 week aged sirloin and it was to die for! Easily one of the top three steaks I’ve ever had before. The prices were reasonable! Tried one of their local wheat beers and that was also wonderful! The owner was the one who took our order was extremely friendly...
We stayed here for a few nights just before Christmas and it was a delightful experience.
We had booked a deluxe room but on arrival were upgraded to a themed room on the second floor.
The room was beautifully decorated and very well furnished and the shower in the bathroom was powerful.Molton Brown toiletries came as standard, as did a...
Excellent service, excellent condition and excellent place place in general. We enjoyed tree days at Prestige and one hour in the conclusion was that we will without a doubt be coming back to Prestige.
This is a centrally located hotel right on the riverfront. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The service is truly second to none. Our three days in Budapest were the highlight of our month long European holiday - we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful city!
This hotel is pretty new hence the low number of reviews, we couldn’t even find it on tripadvisor when we first booked.
It’s perfectly located, a short walk into the town or across the river, there were some Christmas markets less than a minute away too which was a bonus.
The hotel itself is modern with a bold decor &...

Just returned from 3 night stay in Budapest. Fabulous time, thoroughly recommend the hotel. Staff from reception, bar staff, cleaners are very polite and welcoming. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, temperature adjustable, a proper hairdryer, tea and coffee kettle on request. I particularly like the fact you can have a robe slippers if requested, but not just put out...
