Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
It is one of the biggest parliaments in the world. The luxury you can see with a guided tour in your own language is astonishing. It is a delight to see Parliament from outside as inside. The night views from the river are marvelous.
Along with the Parliament this is another landmark for any tourist. It's beautiful and the surroundings are ideal for a short stop given the commerce that exists there and the outside fairs that usually happened in front of the it.
We were lucky to get a table as a walk-in, they were literally booked full for the next week. It's a very small place, only 6-7 tables I think, but it's clear why they're so popular.
First of all, the service- the owner was very welcoming and accommodating. Although we didn't have a reservation, he was nice enough to offer...

Recently, we visited Budapest as an extension of our river cruise. During our stay at the Sofitel Chain Bridge Hotel, we asked the concierge for recommendations for dinner. One of the recommendations was for Baraka (three minute walk from the hotel). The four persons in our party had a truly extraordinary dining experience at the restaurant. We were greeted warmly...
We visited Lucky 7 after we search for places to eat on tripadvisor. It's a fine place to eat great burgers. They have an awesome home made sauce. I recomand this place and for sure we will return there.
The location was perfect, you could just walk everywhere from here. And not to forget, the service - BEST service we've ever had at a hotel. Beautiful enviorment and beautiful room. Love it. If we visit Budapest again we will definitly go here again.
Really top notch hotel with excellent location near to Chain Bridge, Jewish quarter, Andrassy Ave (luxury shopping). Situated on the Danube River in a beautiful restored Art Nouveau building, there really isn't a better hotel in Budapest. Service is typical Four Seasons high quality. Spring for a Danube River view room; you won't be disappointed!
This is a super late post. Solo tripping in Europe for the holidays, I only had four nights in Budapest. I arrived a couple days before Christmas Day 2016. This was my first time in Budapest. I loved it. I loved it a lot.
Location was a few walking blocks near the Parliament building. It was easy to get around....
Returned today from a wonderful 3 nights at the Prestige Hotel and could not wait to write our review.
Firstly, I booked Budapest as a surprised trip for my boyfriends 30th and chose the Prestige due to its central location to many sightseeing venues and its beautiful decor.
I booked a standard double room and had informed the hotel prior...
Nice clean hotel. Free water in room every day. Rooms are small but all you need. Would have been nice to have a English tv channel but we were never really in the room. Nice bathroom with a good shower. Helpful staff. Lovely to have free airport transfer that worked very well. Plenty of choice for breakfast mostly that European...
