If you like Klimt, Hoffmann, Schiele, Kokoschwska, Mathilde Flög and the works of the women and men who created the secession, the Leopold museum is your place. And then you can continue with the post-modern artists who follow in the footsteps of beauty in Vienea.
"The Center of Vienna and home to the Karlskirche"
reviewed 5 February 2020 by Grover R
The Karlsplatz is beautiful plaza with ponds the perfectly frames the biggest attraction, the Karlskirche. The setting is made for pictures. The other thing is we often visited because of the subway. For us and our travels this was the center of Vienna.
Stayed in the area at the Maria Theresia Hotel so this neighbourhood was on my doorstep.
Lots of quaint little smaller streets with cozy restaurants & artists shops. Good place to walk around and experience a more local feel and perhaps even a “little back in time”
My go too curry house, had many of the dishes before an this time tried the lamb bhuna. So good, so tender an with the paneer naan was complete. After all this lock down covid 19 hassle. This was my first outing for food an it was well worth the wait.

Really nice food, you will not be disappointed. Even though we hadn't booked they were kind enough to find a table for us early on Valentine's night before the next customers arrived. Staff were very pleasant and attentive.
We had a perfect stay from 03-08 until 06-08-2020.
The room was supréme and the staff was overall nice and very guest focussed.
I felt like a princess. When I lost my bracelet the housekeeping found it. The Verana restaurant was sublime and the alcohol free coktails delicious.
The 20 meter swimmingpool was the top of the cake!
Friendly stuff - that's first to mention. Overall it is not big hotel, situated in a building, which was built as for rental of apartments. Therefore the feeling is a bit like you live in apartments rather then hotel. Overall atmosphere is good, bed is comfortable, well equipped bathroom, a bit old-fashioned furniture in the rooms. It was nice time...
We stayed for 2 nights in this fantastic hotel in the center of Vienna. Within a 15- minute walk you can reach St.Stephen's Dome and many other sights. We had an early morning arrival because we came by nighttrain and were able to already check in our rooms - which was very nice and convenient. Reception was friendly and helpful...
Hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. It was quiet and the bed was the most comfortable! We did not have breakfast because we wanted to explore the city but it looked really good.
The staff was very friendly.
We have chosen this hotel because of reasonable price (we booked directly theoug NH page), unbeatable location (in the middle of famous shopping street and walking distance from museums and sights) + child friendly amenities. We came by car and we parked in public parking house Atterseehaus Garage. The price for 24h parking is 19,90€ and you don’t have many...
