Was hoping to manage a day trip to Salzburg during my week in Vienna and managed it thanks to WESTbahn. OBB would have cost over €100 but the return with WESTbahn was only €40. 2 hours 20mins each way. Great trains, comfortable, Wi-Fi, phone chargers,... Highly recommended.
We were at the Stadthalle for the Take That concert and I have no complaints about the seating or sound. That was all good. What I did find appalling was the behaviour of the Stadthalle’s security staff. It had been 42 degrees in Vienna that day and was still in the 30s in the evening. And yet the staff refused...
The museum was just across the road from our hotel (Leonardo), and a tram stop away from Westbahnhof. That said, It's not easy to find, as it does not have any door signs or anything.Google Earth pinpoints it in the correct location, but you can't see it!! We persevered, and by luck came across this big grey door with a...
An imposing church with a very beautiful architecture, not far away from the Westbahnhof railway station. It seems to be in a vast restoration process, so the facade is mostly covered by scaffolding that affects its beauty. Closed, I couldn’t enter to visit the inside part
I expected above average and I got the above and beyond.
The 4 course surprise menu was a real treat. Truffels simply elevate the 2 dishes. Let yourself be carressed by their magic and I trust you will not be dissapointed.
I really struggle between shouting out loud the recommendation and staying silent, not to overcrowd the place.
Some semblance of normalcy returns slowly to Vienna, and what better way to spend an evening than with good friends. Out to a favourite spot at Pulkautaler and a pleasant evening being looked after by the ever cheerful Aaron. Quieter than normal due to the virus lock down but the service was still great and the food up to its...
I've been to Mozarts a few times in the past year or so, and I never leave disappointed. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. I recommend the Käsespätzle or a Burger. The atmosphere is very chill and the service is great!
Reminded me of our trip to October fest last year so stopped in for a big stein of beer to get Vienna trip started we had a tomato soup each which was very good my son had the wiener snitizel which he said was amazing good pub

"Lively and joyful place"

Very modern and HIP place, but i have had better vapiano food in Germany. Good and hot food but lesser choice and i felt the portioning was very meager. It is convienently located near the bahnhof and if you have the time, have your meal and head back to the station.
"Great value, amazing organic breakfast and wheelchair access."

We had a lovely stay at this delightful boutique hotel. I am in a wheelchair and although the bathroom in the accessible room is quite small I was able to manage.
My husband and I really enjoyed the organic breakfast and found the service outstanding.
Stayed here for 3 nights on a sightseeing trip but husband has stayed on business too.
Excellent location next to the station and even when it was busy at the weekend the staff took time to look after you.
Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need.
Breakfast at €11.50 was well worth it. Plenty of choice,...
Good location, a minute from the u ban. Plenty of buses and trams.
Single room is small but clean with ok bathroom.
Its an old school hotel with it’s charm .
The price is wonderful and you get exactly what you pay for.
The hotel is one metrostop from Westbahnhof, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Walking to City Hall takes about half an hour and there you are on the edge of the old city. We stayed here during New Years and the price was really reasonable. It is a big place, but they add some nice details to each room...
Fantastic hotel to stay in Vienna. Conveniently located near Westbahnof train station through which it connects you to the main sites in Vienna with the Metro, or other parts of Austria by train. Location is safe and with several supermarkets and restaurants close by. The staff is super friendly in particular the gentlemen at the bar and restaurant. The breakfast...
