We used this travel hub on a couple of occasions, by tram, bus, underground and train. We travelled by train to Bratislava, from here. It takes just over an hour, each way, and costs just 16EU return. The station is very clean, puts some of our British stations to shame!!
All transport methods in Vienna are so easy to use,...
Bought Bratislover and extension tickets to the airport. In both cases I have served efficiently by courteous counter staff who spoke excellent English. They have time for small talks and considerate in giving out important information regarding my trips that turn out to be very useful!
A bookshop you can trust.
There had been a little misunderstanding on a book with a similar title, I sent the wrong book back first, they sent the right book back very soon after they had received the sent-back wrong book, and it goes without saying, nothing extra to pay.
I was really looking forward to this tour and was not disappointed. Our guide was very knowledgeable and articulate in explaining the art work, the artists and the history of each work. As I am a direct descendant of Sir Peter Rubens l was particularly keen to study his work. The sheer size of his paintings was incredible and I...
We ordered the limousine ride online
Driver waited for us at airport
It was a more of a mini bus but the ride was good
Same for return ride, though this time it was Skoda
In both cases the cars smelled from the cigarettes so a bit discomforting
I have a dinner in this restaurant inside Andaz Vienna - overall it is a great experience.
The menu contains both traditional and modern food, including starters, main dishes, and desserts. I did try the beef broth and the famous roasted pork -- both are very tasty and excellent!
The service is attentive and the price is reasonable.
We had just arrived in Vienna and ate here before exploring the city, as it was close to our accommodation. We shared a very tasty and authentic Italian pizza and excellent goats cheese salad and both were delicious. Service was friendly, fast and efficient and we would happily have eaten here again, if we had been staying longer. I really...
Our stay was far to short for the great hotel. We where upgraded to a suite. The location is very central. You can reach the highlights in a few minutes walk. The central station is close.
The rooftop bar is worth visiting. You have the best view over Vienna.
The breakfast was served and was delicious.
I love the fact...
price/value ratio is through the roof in this place. Second visit, this time with my daughter who enjoyed staying in her own room (to my benefit too!) and it was just as fresh as the first time. Well designed, bright friendly and super clean with a real local flair. Great to wake up every morning and know where you are...
I had arranged a wake-up call at 6 am with a person at reception - I stressed it was very important for me, because I had a flight. Luckily, I woke up five minutes before 6 am spontaneously. And I waited for the wake-up call just to ensure that my trust was valued. But no wake-up call occured.
Stayed for 3 nights. The room was cosy and comfortable - all we required. Bed was very soft and warm. Hotel was clean and bright. Friendly staff. We had breakfast once, which was really nice - lots of selection. Location is fab - right by the station, but our room was very quiet considering. We'll definitely be back.
Just facing the Hauptbahnhof station this hotel's location is amazing and so convenient. Especially after a long flight this is just a perfect hotel to welcome you after all these hours. We had to wait a couple of hours before getting our room but we played with my son in the play area which was nice and full of toys....
