A great reward if you can manage crossing though the Slussen construction - act like a local and complain about it - especially in the evening. A wonderful view of both Gamla Stan and modern areas, with small terraces to sit.
I went to this museum not expecting much and ended up being surprised in all the best ways! The exhibitions were absolutely beautiful and interesting. And at the end there’s the cafe: the best view of the town you can imagine! Don’t miss it!
Fjällgatan is a street located high up on the edge of a cliff with a panoramic view of the city.
This street and the nearby streets are lined with historic wooden buildings from the 1700s.
At the moment, there are big construction works going on in the street below.
The iconic Katarina Lift is gigantic metal construction that connects Slussen to the heights of Södermalm. The lift was a shortcut between Slussen and Mosebacke Torg.
The original lift was constructed in 1881, but the current structure dates from the rebuilding of the Slussen transport interchange in 1936.
The lift has been closed since 2010 due to security problems in...
This is a big, cool and exciting museum of public transport. I like trains and trams and it was a great idea to visit it. It is really big. You can see the real natural size buses, trams and even subway trains. Look at the exhibition displays which tell the story of public transport in the Stockholm region. Know more...
We’ve been at nook for a business dinner, big group of 12 people. We found a really friendly and chill ambient, waiters and waitress were really cool, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, really liked the kind of fusion they make and the advices we had on wines. I highly recommend this restaurant, thanks again for the night we had
I was taken here by my girlfriend, being a bit of a food dork myself she had to come up with something special, and she did! The concept of the restaurant changes every few months and now it was ‘staycation’. Different dishes from around the world, to give you the feeling you’re away, and they have given it their own...
A fantastic boutique hotel ..
Been here several times now and everything from service and treatment from staff to the fantastic breakfast is TOP NOTCH!
Cozy rooms, nicely decorated - I will keep coming back thats for sure..
Not sure what I expected when we turned up. The reception staff were v pleasant and professional. Our room was slightly disappointing. V dark with lots of wooden panels. A bit like a sauna. Our twin beds were so close it could almost be a double bed and the room had a view of other rooms. Suppose it was like...
Our stay at NOFO Hotel in Stockholm was fantastic. We had booked two superior rooms for our wedding weekend. Since I informed the reception that we will have a photographer as well as a make-up artist come up to our room, they gave us a bigger room and a bottle of wine, a hand-written note, as well as some toffees...
The hotel is perfekt to explore the city. It is very good located, close to an underground station and only 3 stations to the old town (Gamla Stan) and the center.
All employees were really nice and friendly and helped us wherever they could. Every room looks very individual. Ours was perfectly fine and clean. The breakfast had a wide...
It was short stay for business trip with my colleague. Hotel is clean and cozy. Rooms are looking better on the pictures, but still it was clean and comfortable. Whole hotel is eco-friendly. That is big plus! Great breakfast. Loved it here. Thank you.
