This place defines old. Serene setting, calm and peaceful. Then you have this massive field of graves from ancient times. Well worth a visit. Bring something to eat and drink and make it a picnic (there are great places to sit and eat.
A very nice structure with a pretty view, which can be appreciated even during everyday commute. I wouldn't say it's worth visiting though, unless you're going to Millesgården, then I'd recommend taking a walk from Ropsten station.
HAPPY sthlm really stands out in Gamla Stan as a place for original and well-designed housewares, jewelry, and special gifts to bring back from Sweden. I love that the designs are focused around natural elements; one of my favorite pieces from them is a necklace with a pendant made to look like blades of grass. We go back to HAPPY...

A neighborhood with cafe and two restaurants worth visiting a short trip outside the city. The Matalejen has a very personal decor style, completely in tune with a menu that has a modern orientation. Fun feature is that food items for sale as well as a wine list that arouses lust.
