My First visit at the onassis cultural center was for a movie night. The movie hall was extraordinary , so good in acoustics. We enjoyed a greek movie. The entrance hall is also impressive, has a modern design minimal chic. There is also a bar on the ground level. A good idea for a before show drink. Until next time...
The traditional folk museum is closed since 2015 but the tenant indicates this museum as a replacement. Far from a replacement it’s a gem. The museum is the house of the first Greek folklorist Aggeliki Hatzmichali (1895-1965). We were shown around by a very nice lady who even spoke French to our grand-daughter age 10. Very friendly. Beautiful wedding dresses...
We went through the Acropolis Museum before we made our way to the Acropolis in 96 degree heat.
This is a new Museum since I was in Athens and what an addition. Excellent. Go to the third floor and see the Parthenon laid out in actual size and be sure to watch the excellent movie.

We had a really nice meal here during out short stay in Athens. It was beautifully prepared and well served by a friendly and helpful waitress - not only that, it tasted so nice ! We couldn’t eat it all but were able to take our leftovers away for the next day ! Even yummier !

This stylish, clean and child-friendly hotel is an ideal starting point for walks through the historic centre of Athens. In addition to the location and the really nice modern rooms, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who all speak excellent English, deserves special mention. The Corona-related challenges of running a hotel in these times have been excellently dealt with. Breakfast...
Very light and bright decor with comfortable sized room and western breakfast with a bar and restaurant. Close to metro. Very satisfied. We would definitely here stay again and we recommend this hotel.
Just outside Attica but yet close enough to walk to the centre or Acropolis and also take in the views of the magnificent structure from some rooms and the lounge or restaurant and yet ideally located on Syngrou Avenue to avoid peak traffic and get on to the highway to Glyfada, Piraues or the North part of Athens.
"I stayed there several times over the course of 2 weeks."

Its a great location, only 15 minutes walking to the Acropolis and main shopping area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I ate several times at their roof top restaurant. The food was delicious with a magnificent view of the Acropolis, especially at night.
Great staff - very friendly and helpful. When we arrived our shower didn't work properly however the staff swiftly moved us to a new & upgraded room, which was much appreciated. I wouldn't rate this as a 5 star venue however the pool area was lovely and we enjoyed the restaurant.
