Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
You can't get in without a reservation, even though there is nothing to pay. So work out your itinerary and book online in advance. Highly recommend the tour of the roof, for anyone who can't manage the huge numbers of stairs or confined spaces of the dome or the belltower.
Super beautiful and unique Cupola, which is the dome for Duomo. On the day I was there I tried to enter the dome but was disappointed to learn not even pay on entry was entertained. You must book in advance to be able to access the dome. My only other alternative was to admire its beauty from the outside. I...
On leaving Rome and arriving in Florence especially in this location I was in awe. Florence is awesome. Compared to Rome my favourite is Florence. The Centro storico is the town and I am still very impressed by what I saw. The jewellery shops, the river, the exquisite architectural masterpieces ..just wow.
Remember to walk with lots of money because...

Walked by this beautiful and cozy place!
The owner is really helpful and kind! The food was amazing and the drinks were not overpriced as like the other restaurants in Florence.
Highly recommended this place to everyone!

Visited here for lunch on the suggestion of a friend who is a student in Florence. Amazing, amazing, amazing! Don't be put off by the tiny shop. They have an efficient process for moving the orders through and the quality and selection is amazing. I think there were some tables outside but we were staying close enough to go home...
We have been a couple of times to this restaurant and it’s very amazing. The wines, the food, the service, all was great. Especially Francisco was very friendly. He also did recommend us some other places which was very kind!!
Was in Florence a day after Christmas 2019 stayed 2 nights.
Love the location of this hotel just walking distance to the beautiful duomo piazza and shopping streets.
The room is a bit small but understandably so given the location. Most importantly the room was clean, modern looking and well maintained.
I remember the breakfast was great with good variety...
We had our so expected visit to Italy planned since 2019 to celebrate our anniversary in Tuscany, trip starting August 2020. Sadly our plans needed to be postponed due to Covid pandemia. But I must take a time to thank and recognize the amazing attendance we had from Milu Hotel staff. Proactively they contacted us to inform they were changing...

A lot has been written about the great location, the beautiful interior and design. It’s all true and I highly recommend a stay here.
However, I especially want to mention the professional, friendly and helpful staff running the hotel. Samantha was the perfect example how a great hotel distinguished itself from “the rest”. She was always helpful, going out of...
We stayed here at the beginning of August 2020 for 4 nights as a family of 4. As soon as we left, we missed it. The location can’t be beaten in my opinion. It’s steps from Duomo, there are plenty of lovely, local restaurants nearby. It just has a lovely feel.
The rooms are size wise, as expected in a...
