Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
Ponte Sant'Angelo or in English, Bridge of Angels is a lovely bridge close to Sant'Angelo Castle. Definitelt worth a stop if you are in the area to see the wonderful view of the Caste, the River and also the nice scultures of Angels.
Found this beautiful Palace over the Tiber when walking around with my wife.
It's outstanding and both the interior and exterior are exquisite.
It's nickname is Palazzaccio which means Bad Palace due to the perceived corruption for how long it took to make and the grandiose Intricate work included in the design.
When we were here, on a Tuesday in July, this place was tranquillo! A lot of wide open green grass. The south side of this piazza is the actual Supreme Court for Italia. There was no one here but us. The Cavour statue, green grass and palm trees, it was a chill-out time for us!

There's not a lot of place to sit, but it's cosy.
The bread is so good! One of the best we had during our 3 week trip to Italy. The toppings (parma, burrata..) taste so fresh!
It's more a place to eat 'quick' (30min or so) than a real restaurant.
Really good place!

"Great Pizza in Rome near Vatican City"
reviewed 3 July 2020 by BGinNapoli
My favorite meal in Rome. There are two sides to the menu, red and white. My first pizza was so good I came back so I could have one from each side of the menu! The crust is crispy and fresh, and the toppings are excellent. The portion was perfect and the pizza inexpensive. The owner (Alessio) is extremely engaging...
Recently visited for my wife’s birthday and anniversary post-lockdown from the UK. We were initially given a room with an internal view from the window. The kind member of staff on reception quickly found us another room with an outside view without any extra charge.
When we returned from walking around beautiful Rome on my wife’s birthday they left a...
As other reviewers have said, this hotel is a bit unusual in that it is just a few rooms on one floor (4th) of a building and this made it feel rather souless to me.
That said, the room was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and a good size for a city hotel. There was hot water in the morning...
We stayed here for a night. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to stay again. The staff were exceptional and the interiors to dye for as so cool. The location is great for visiting Rome. The best city hotel I have stayed. We went with 3 children. Teenagers and younger.
A very pleasant stay in one the most ancient cities in the world. A few steps from Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican City. Kind and professional staff with beautiful and spacious rooms. A good hotel in a nice area.
We bought our tickets ahead of time from the Vatican Museum website $28E. We got to skip the big line and just waited in a short security line to get in. We wanted to go at our own pace so we got hand held audio guide. There was so much to see it was overwhelming. The amount of art is...
