Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

First visit to Gaudi’s masterpiece. External view is very interesting but the building comes to life when you are inside and the way the light captures the stain glass windows is breathtaking. We booked basic entry on day using QR code at entrance. Look forward to seeing it fully completed. Well worth a visit.

I actually stayed in the barrio gracia, it was quite an experience; lots of restaurants serving all kinds of food, great shopping and just great energy to be part of.
Coincidentally, it was feria de gracia during my stay, what a delight to experience such an old tradition, that is still kept alive by the people of the neighborhood
Visiting Gaudí’s works is a must when visiting Barcelona. We liked Casa Mila but the entrance fee is really experience. Once night thing is that you get an audio guide with your ticket, which is nice. The rooftop was my favorite part of this house. The architecture was amazing on the rooftop. There is also a section dedicated to the...
I've lived in the city for two years and this was my first visit to the house. It is a wonderful experience!
The house is so well maintained: You even have to wear little booties on your shoes during the tour to protect the floor.
Afterwards we had a cup of hot chocolate and warm bread for dipping. Delicious!

Had a great dining experience tonight. Took a while to get seated and place the order but the place was pretty busy. Best pizza I've ever had and the gnocchi with calamari was excellent. The staff was very nice and offered very personal service. Do yourself a favor and drop in for a stellar meal.
This place is amazing. Came in for breakfast with my girlfriend. For €6 your choice of tea or coffee (amazing cappuccino), an eclair (the caramel is divine), and freshly squeezed orange juice. The food is fantastic, the owner is lovely, interior is very cool, and so cheap for what you get. Who knew you’d get better french food in Barcelona...
I made a reservation at Teoric, months in advance for our first night in Barcelona. As luck would have it our flight was delayed and we missed it. Called them up and lucky for us someone cancelled. So glad we got to eat there! Very welcoming staff. Started our dinner with some nice cava. Loved the salmon croquettes, beef with...

Planned my next stay at the hotel already!! Can’t wait.
The location was perfect. the hotel lobby is beautiful and inviting. the hotel front desk was charming and they have keys with big tassels and you drop off your key on the way out and pick it up on the way in. they all know you by site. the rooms are incredible and the stair up to the rooms are...
I stayed at The Corner Hotel over Thanksgiving and loved it. The lobby and rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were extremely gracious and helpful, especially to a non-Spanish speaking guest like myself! I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others visiting Barcelona! Thanks to all the staff. You were great! ~Lisa
First, the hotel is modern and the staff from top to bottom was extremely friendly and competent. The internal restaurant was good. The overall quality of construction was good. The room design, however, is too avant garde and positions the shower, sink and toilet in the middle of the room with only spotted glass doors for privacy while washing or...
