Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
Incredible place, full of stories and unusual environments.
if you go to Barcelona and like culture, I recommend knowing the unprecedented creativity of Gaudi.
Book online, more convenient and easier than getting a queue at the door.

i guess i won't write here anything special or helpful:) its a city center. very crowded usually. i don't find it amazing or so. be careful here in metro because many teaf around here. never let your staff in your back pockets and bags always in front.
We had no problems getting tickets for La Pedrera, probably because they are expensive! But it was interesting. We really loved walking around on the roof. When we went in we were given a coupon for a "free" picture. At the end they have a green screen and take your picture - the free picture is the second one when...
Very pleasing and enjoyable. You got to see how this family lived over 100 years ago. The textures, colors and style is unique and beautiful!
Tips to make you visit lovely.
1. You have a guided tour with a person and an audio player. The guide is there to keep you on track. I found him to be more than...
"The most bizzare collection of jewellery of Ps de Gracia."

In essence a fashion and jewellery shop with perfumes and other items in a gallery like setting that often changes display layouts. Do take time to look in for a half hour if around window shopping. Will appeal to all.
It was a wonderful experience, dining in the Chef's apartment with a total of 7 people.
Amazing food with very enjoyable people. We had a total of 7 courses with unlimited wines, each dish was excellent and with a wonderful presentation. I would highly recommend going to Rudi's.
If you love amazing, adventurous food along with great wines, service and ambiance, you need to try Uma. We arrived early and were given a glass of Cava and the proceeded to have a 10 course tasting menu with 6 paired wines. The flavors, portions, aesthetic presentation was perfect. Service was impeccable. The chef came out and checked in with...
We went there after hearing what we now know are well deserved outstanding Trip Advisor reviews. The food and service were outstanding and made us wish we lived in Barcelona. Their charcuterie plate, grilled mushroom appetizer, roast pork and everything else we tried was delicious. Loved their waffle with ice cream for dessert. Great guidance on wine selections too. Go...
I had breakfast at this nice little Café and do absolutely recommend it! The pastry is yummy and the guy working there was very friendly and helpful. The portions are quite small but well, so you can try several flavours. ;)
It was my first trip to Barcelona and became completely overwhelmed when began researching hotels as there were so many of them. H10 Casa Mimosa was the very best choice. It is in a very good location - walking distance to most things - including the very best shopping boutiques - even the beach (a little bit of a longer...
Incredible stay at The Corner Hotel! The rooftop pool area is spectacular and a great place to unwind and chill out. My sangria from the bar was one of the best I've had and was enjoyed by the pool during a perfect afternoon sunbathing.
Gorgeous touches such as the stunning interior and great music playing by the bar and on...
My partner and I have just returned home from here and I’m still in awe!
Beautifully original hotel that just oozes class and style. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly, the room and all other areas were tastefully decorated in a modern yet classic.
We had a view of sagrada familia from our balcony, which...
In my experience, few 5 star hotels live up to their rating. The One is not the case. This is an exceptional hotel with excellent facilities and outstanding staff. Added to which the hotel is dog friendly and welcomed our two labrador retrievers with open arms. I recommend this hotel as one of the best I have ever stayed in....
We had an amazing stay. We were there for 3 nights before continuing to Italy and it was by far our best stay during our 2 week vacation. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the location is super convenient; we walked to las ramblas, the harbor, the gothic quarter, and Sagrada Familia. Great food around the hotel and even...
