Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
Nice and not so big art gallery. You really enjoying art there as it is not crowded and overwhelming. I love the Picasso collection, but Matisse and Cezanne are my favorite. Tour guide on English or German is included to the ticket price.
This is an interesting comparison of the old and new, the old church which was badly damaged in the war is a fitting memorial and still has a beautiful interior. The new church is also interesting to visit ( if its open ) so do try and visit both if you get the chance. Known locally as the lipstick and...
Charlottenburg Palace is considered one of Berlin's main attractions. Built at the end of the 17th century, as a royal summer residence in baroque style, and was expanded during the 18th century. Parts of the interior are open to visitors like the porcelain cabinet and the bedchamber of King Frederick .
The highlight of the palace is the beautiful garden....
The Kurfurstendamm, or Kudamm is the iconic (ex west) Berlin's avenue. It starts from the famous Kaiser Wilhelm ruined Church, one of Berlin's most famous sights and runs for miles.
It's very pleasant walking it, window shopping and relaxing, as it's lined with many high end fashion stores and trendy cafes and international restaurant chains.
The restaurant is very cozy and has delicious food, all prepared to order. The chef and his wife run the restaurant and are very friendly. We had our children with us and they were very accommodating, even though it is not really a kid restaurant. We had one order of duck and mushrooms with potatoes and another order of pasta...
My wife and I came here looking for a seafood restaurant and we got more than we were looking for. The food was delicious and the Spanish wine recommended by our waitress paired lovely with our meal. The customer service was exceptional and they made sure we had everything was attended to. We will now be visiting La Caleta regularly...
One of my favorite places to have great lunch and amazing Dinner .
Vincenzo Is the a very welcoming , warm-hearted person, who will cheer you up with his smile and ready to help attitude.
The food is very delicious and finesse, the wines are indescribable.

Our stay was the best. Dominik at the front desk made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the doors. He and the staff here went above and beyond every single day. He went so far as to search out an HDMI cable so my daughter and I could watch tv using her computer and offered to walk...

The room was excellent, very clean and even the staff obeyed not to clean when it need to. The location is quite ideal, near the train station and surrounded by other restaurants you can sample out foods around.
Stayed her twice during July 2020. Location is the best you can get. Everything is close.
The Hotel is nice. This time we stayed in a junior suite. Big room and nice bed but the room needs maintenance. Too many damages, marks on furniture and walls which shows that the room has had better days.
