Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
Well laid out to cope with Covid restrictions, Tate Britain shows off British art from 16th century onwards - the collection we opted for takes in 1500s to 1800s, a separate tour deals with the late 19th and 20th centuries. There are some tremendous pieces of very famous art on show, from some very famous artists. It's all quite wonderful;...
Came across this while getting from Pimlico to Vauxhall. Bessborough Gardens is a small public gardens in a affluent Pimlico area of London. It;s nice and tidy and does have a fountain in the centre of the park, called the Dolphin Fountain, although the motifs are actually a pair of sturgeons.
A nice little park, but no real reason to...
Was so pleased to go back here after lockdown. The restaurant never disappoints the food is superb the service second to none and undoubtedly the best experience you can have dining out. If you haven't been here yet you are really missing out. Cannot fault the place excellent in every way. Always guaranteed the best evening

Seafood skewers and bulgur wheat with tase salads and dips. Delicious. Chips too! Excellent service, adjusting the shade umbrellas to ensure our party had the sun and shade we wanted. Languorous Sunday afternoon lunch, age 14 to 81 all enjoyed it. Great London street location.
This is a sort of 'tapas' take on Italian food - they recommend ordering two of three dishes each to share, which we duly did - a couple of mini-pizzas, a couple of salads, Fritto Misto etc.
It was great - really original style and recipes and a very social way to eat, would thoroughly recommend a visit - ask...
Stayed here 3 times over the past 9 months and in different rooms. Love the quietness, the ambience and the overall vibe in the place. very well located for local transport and good restaurants and pubs!

Booked this as a last minute birthday treat for my husband. Welcomed by Genuine smiling faces - arrived a bit earlier that planned but even that was no problem and we were given room 33.
The room was spacious and immaculate. Robes toiletries and the all important safe.
A family run business makes it feel homely, genuinely nice people. We...
I needed a hotel while my husband had an operation in a nearby hospital. I felt very comfortable at the Eccleston Square Hotel and looked after.
The staff are all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would definitely recomend this hotel .
With holidays being cancelled this year and UK beaches being overrun, we thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the “quiet time” and visit London for a few nights.
We found The Belgrave in Pimlico and after reading the reviews and their COVID policies, decided to take a chance and were suitably impressed!
I judge a...
