"My Favourite Street in Toronto"
reviewed 1 week ago by Doc_it_lab
Queen St. is my favourite street in the city. It’s long and dissects the whole city. There are so many different types of shops and restaurants and a nice mix between luxury, artsy, and working class atmospheres.
This was a wonderful find. I was not expecting a gallery here, mixed in with the take-out pizza, donuts and roti shops, but there it was. Quite spacious, the gallery owner, Jodi Wheeler, has an interest in emerging Canadian artists, with many Torontonians listed on the website. She takes pride in showing a variety of mediums, including pottery, jewelry, photography...
My boyfriend and I visited a couple months ago as our first stop in Toronto and found this cool place. My boyfriend is big into IPA’s and he got to try some really great ones. I lucked out as they had an oyster eatery there for the day! Fun place to hang out and friendly service.
We went with my son and his wife when we were visiting them in Toronto. The beer is brewed on the premises and is exceptional. It's also allowed to take dogs so is a nice change. Its a bit out of the way which is the only minus point.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal here tonight, on a gorgeous patio. In the middle of these crazy times, lights, plants and screens make the patio so special. The food is always amazing here. Very creative dishes expertly prepared!
We went with our friend for Mexican as it’s been a long time eating out because of Covid. We chose it because of the patio. It was nicely decorated and the food was amazing. They made us feel comfortable and the staff was great. The Margaritas were perfect too and made for a great afternoon.
