Beautiful place, the Beach area is super with the Lake lapping at the edges, we walked the Beach and then into the park area edging the Lake. Got some beautiful photos in the Winter Sunshine. Lots of wildlife to watch. Easy walking. Spent an amazing day in the area..
Every park has it's charms and this is a focal for the Beaches. Concerts in summer. Lots of old trees. Monuments. Runs from Queen down to the lake. Charming spot and great for a summer stroll as part of a weekend outing. One of the nicest in Toronto but fortunately not too busy usually.

After a morning of strolling the beaches we were all heading in different directions. This was just a convenient stop for a late lunch. Surprise! The breakfast menu was still on for another 10 minutes. half of us went for the luncheon fare and really enjoyed the spinach salad and the portobello club but the kitchen held the breakfast menu...

We were visiting our friends who live in the beaches & arrived at their trendy house sometime mid afternoon this past Sat. intending to just visit for a few hours & then head home. instead, we spent a bit of time walking around in cold weather & then played cards, while enjoying our red & white wine.

As a member of the feature film and television community in Toronto, when a restaurant is found that our crew enjoys, other departments are informed, and we remain loyal. Vivetha Bistro is one of those eateries.
Great meals, service, and atmosphere.
