Mission Ridge Winter Park Featuring 14 Trails, 3 Lifts, and 2 Terrain Parks With a vertical drop of 320 feet (97.5 m) and 25 acres (10 hectares) of skiing area, Mission Ridge offers skiers and snowboarders an excellent facility in beautiful surroundings. 30 snowmaking machines brings the equivalent of 100 inches (254 cm) of annual snowfall to the hill with snow making accounting for about 99 percent of this. Total number of lifts is three of which one is a Triple Chair lift, one is a Magic Carpet conveyor lift, and one Handle Tows. Total capacity is 2,700 people per hour. The number of trails at Mission Ridge is 14. The longest run, the Half-Mile Highway, measures 2,600 feet (792 m). A system of ratings, rates the trails as: Easiest, 40%; More Difficult, 30% and Most Difficult, 30%. These trail ratings indicate the relative difficulty of the runs. In addition, there's the Terrain Park at the bottom of Ericksons Race Way, and a Progression Terrain on the East Bunny Hill . It is the home of Bubba's at Mission, an excellent restaurant with a varied menu which includes that all-time favorite--Pizza. Lift passes and equipment rentals may also be purchased there, or one can just sit and enjoy the sunshine and the view.
