Clean floor + room. Room big enough. Extremely annoying flashing light from smoke detector right above bed; combined with 2 similar LED lights from air conditionning, it it disturbing to anyone whose sleep is light sensitive. Quite a silly choice of place to put the smoke

Dear Mr. Bruno Thank you for having taken the time to highlight you experience at Darley hotel Chiang Mai and I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the disappointment you have expressed. Here are our answers to your complaints: 1. The brown water flowing out to the faucet was caused by the broken pressure pump in the main city water tank.The city governor Staff spent several hours in the night to have the broken pressure pump repaired. Unfortunately, the hotel had 100% occupancy on that night and thus there was no possibility to accord a room change. 2. As for the blinking smoke detector light, this is a standard setting as a fire safety precautionary measure by the manufacturer of the system. 3. We have noted your comment that tourists screaming across the hallway atrium could be heard from your room. Please rest assured that your concerns will be taken into consideration for any future improvement. We have updated in your guest profile to allocate a room in a quieter area of the hotel for your future visits. 4. Whilst we rarely receive negative feedback about the WI-Fi network connection, we have highlighted your feedback to the service provider for their review and follow-up. As a gesture of our goodwill, we have arranged through Agoda a refund equivalent to two night’s room charges (20nd an 22nd November 2018). Mr.Bruno , once again thank you for your feedback. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to regain your confidence by choosing to stay with us again on your next visit to Chiang Mai. Yours respectfully The Management Team
