There are many wonderful hikes that start from Tegwaan Country Getaway! All the routes are along the edge of the escarpment with beautiful views into the Elands Valley. Many of them go to or by waterfalls! Our most popular are: - Stone Circle Loop (3.5km round trip) – follow yellow feet, bear right at first split in the trail - Boven Vista Viewpoint (5km there and back) – follow yellow feet to blue feet, and then follow the signs to Boven Vista - Valley View (5km there and back) – follow yellow feet, to blue feet, then follow signs to Valley View. - Rock Fairies Waterfall (10km there and back) – Download All Trails and search for the “Rock Fairies Waterfall” hike - Rocky Drift (10km there and back) – follow yellow feet, to blue feet and then follow the signs to Rocky Drift. Tranquilitas MTB trails offers what few trail centers have. 80km of single-track at an altitude of 1600m to 2000m above sea level. Not many trail centers have 4-5km of downhill flow-runs, Tranquilitas has 4 such lines where not a single pedal-stroke is required to descend the entire run. These trails cater for all skill levels and can be ridden with most bikes. Shuttle services are offered to groups on request.
