Small national park just outside Swellendam. We saw a few antelope but not many, also saw a few birds but overall not a lot to see. The staff were friendly but the map and the verbal guidance given were not particularly helpful. The roads probably need an SUV to be comfortable and confident driving round (it had rained heavily that day). Low entry cost but would not go back

Although we live locally, was first time we got to this park. After recent disappointing experiences at some of the bigger national parks, this one was far more pleasant. Well received at reception with some explanation of the park and its rules, clean toilets and little sign of litter. Looked well maintained. Roads a bit rough in places but in 4x4 not really an issue. Game is there but not easy to spot. Hiking paths well looked after and reasonably well sign posted though a bit confusing in parts, easy to figure out. Had a problem with my vehicle and parks staff were quick to attend and help sort out. Definitely now on local places for repeat visit.

Amazing chalet with electric blankets, DSTV and a 2 plate oven. We woke up to a beautiful view and we had a bontebok walking right in front of our chalet. Lovely experience, we will definitely be back soon
