South African roots. Worldwide acclaim. Gary and Kathy Jordan have been making world-class wines since 1993 on a farm with a history going back over 300 years. Gary's parents, Ted and Sheelagh, bought the 146-hectare Stellenbosch property in 1982, and embarked on an extensive replanting programme, specializing in classic varieties suited to the different soils and slopes. From the Jordan hillside vineyards one has spectacular panoramic views of Table Mountain, False Bay and Stellenbosch.

A visit to Lanzerac – the official home of Pinotage – is not complete without a wine tasting and guided tour of the acclaimed wine cellar. Visitors to the Lanzerac Tasting Room are able to experience our distinguished wines in the comfort of a relaxed setting. Enjoy a guided tasting by one of our knowledgeable Wine Advisor’s in the well-appointed Tasting Room, or on the verandah overlooking the vineyards with breath-taking views of the valley. The Tasting Room is open seven days a week and offers visitors a selection of informative tastings and pairings to both challenge the palate and complement the award-winning wines.
