If you're in the area and don't have much time to spare this is a good option compared to the other ostrich farms. It suited us as the tours went every 20 minutes (most were once an hour and we were just dropping in after visiting the Caves and had a long drive ahead), you just walk around, not a tractor tour (too young for us!), it doesn't take very long (we were only 5 people including us 3) and the highlight besides seeing baby ostrich hatching, was feeding the birds from holding a bucket, it was hilarious. Also, you can try ostrich meat, we pre-ordered an ostrich kebab to share so it didn't take long to arrive once finished the tour (large plate, meat slathered in bottled sauce) and the gift shop is quite extensive, I bought a couple plain eggs very reasonably priced, just what I wanted. Guide was not great, but other than that, it delivered on what we wanted!

Lovely morning spent at this small ostrich farm. The staff seemed passionate about what they were doing, and the explanations of ostrich behaviors, breeding process (egg incubation!), descriptions of eggs and hides as well as the interactions with the birds themselves were very informative. The restaurant was nice and the food was tasty--ostrich is on the menu. There may not be as many ostriches here as at other ranches/farms, but it was still a pleasure to get up close to a few of them. Tour sizes seem to be small--ours was five people plus the guide. Tour time took a total of 45 minutes at most, but there was no hurried feel. Nice gift shop as well if you want to get a souvenir. It's a nice stop on the way to Cango Caves, if you're heading there from Oudtshoorn, too.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by Erika and her team. They made us feel welcome from the onset and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The tour itself was very informative, we got to feed some of the ostriches, pet on if the chicks and even got a shoulder massage from a couple of friendly ostriches. The curio shop has a lot of beautiful souvenirs on offer that would make great gifts and beautiful handbags. Highly recommend

Christopher was a great guide with much knowledge! Happy to answer any questions as we walked around listening to all the facts about Ostriches. We fed them & also stood on eggs showing how strong they are - old eggs of course! No Ostrich rides these days as obviously not a kind thing for them! A small family run place where you can interact with the birds closely while your guide tells you all about them. Gift shop & restaurant available on site too.

I wasn’t really impressed by this ostrich farm. First of all there weren’t that many ostriches. I expected as part of our organised holiday we would get to visit a real big ostrich farm but that wasn’t the case. I think this is mainly for the tourists. The ostriches looked very good and healthy. The guide was good but I did think the tour was very rushed. Afterwards we had lunch, which was ok also not amazing. So at the end of the day I did see this as one of the less things we did on the trip.

Small-scale farm. Upon arrival (we were early) we immediately got a Dutch tour with a nice guide. First the history of the ostriches and then the tour with feeding and a neck massage. We also got an explanation of how to make the fluffies. We could take a lot of pictures and ask questions. It was a very nice outing. Definitely recommended
