To visit here you have to pay to the SANP to enter, it was about £30 for two adults. There are a few different trails you can do we on did the small trail to visit the suspension bridge. Be advised their are plenty of steps and reasonable level of fitness is required and trainers or shoes. It took us just over an hour and well worth it, it was great to see and experience the views. There are also a few animals to stop on your walk round.

The walk to the suspension is moderate with many lookout spots along the way to rest or to take pictures. The walk or hike is a wooden pathway in the middle of the Tsitsikamma National Park and it leads to the Suspension Bridge and other hiking trails that branches off the pathway. Entrance to the park was 74 ZAR per person. The bridge is well maintained and the views are breathtaking. We went on a misty afternoon and it added an ominous feel to the walk, which I loved. Walking over the bridge is fun as it ebbs with the movement of the people walking on it. Such a beautiful experience. Definitely worth the visit.

If you are lucky you will park near the shop and toilets but be prepared to park on road and walk back to car park. Beautiful scenery, walk on good surface although small part across sand and rock. Trainers are ideal, open toe footwear not advised as there are also steps. Not really advised for people with a walking disability.

We rode our bikes into the Tsitsikamma National Park. After lunch at the Cattle Baron Grille and Bistro, we took a nearby path to get to the suspension bridge. Lots of stairs, well maintained, up and down to get there. Beautiful bridge. Lovely views. A few hygrax , related to the elephant of all creatures, up on the rocks as we were crossing the bridge.
