Balloon ride was truly exceptional. Well worth the money. Breakfast afterwards might have been the best we had in our whole three weeks in Africa. Eduardo, our pilot was very funny and more importantly very safe. I was an airline pilot for 45 years and know a capable pilot when I see one. I would put my whole family in his balloon at one time. If you are on the fence, just do it. Experience of a lifetime with a first rate company

This balloon experience over the Mara River was just first rate, from the initial briefing by the Captain that made us feel we were in experienced and capable hands, through the flight itself, to the delicious celebratory meal at the conclusion of the event. The ride itself was breathtaking! Floating just feet above the trees along the Mara River and higher to wonderful vistas of the area. The captain’s skill at maneuvering the balloon up and down and turning was truly amazing. On the ground, the breakfast crew was friendly, entertaining and produced a wonderful meal. Don’t forget to buy your 360 degree video of the trip! The best souvenir ever!

Fabulous experience. very long ride at various altitudes with fantastic game viewing. Ali is an experienced and superb pilot. We felt engaged and completely safe at every moment. I very very strongly recommend this company and experience.

Best experience ever! The hot-air balloon on its own is a once in a lifetime experience. Our adorable captain, Serkan, went out of his way to enhance it with lots of humor, close encounters with the animals and wonderful views of the river and plains while taking some pretty amazing photos. We will all cherish this memory forever, all 12 of us and had the best christmas morning! The champagne bush breakfast that follows is top botch and perfectly organized. A big thank you from the entire group!!

Had a great experience with Skyship. They are pretty close to Mara North Conservency, so didn’t have to to travel too much to get on to the balloon. The captain (from Egypt - blanking on his name) was very professional and explained things well - we managed to spot a rhino from the air besides other animals. The champagne breakfast was sumptuous.

Amazing balloon ride as well as exceptional pick up and drop off from our safari camp. Our driver Nemoine (spelling?) went out of his way to help us spot a newborn baby elephant and cheetah. Truly memorable. Would highly recommend Nemoine as guide as well as driver. Great service.

After a 20-30 minute drive to skyship base we were offered coffee or tea and met our professional Pilot Ali for a briefing . A short walk and toilet stop later we were climbing into the basket with the first tinges of morning light . Lift off was gentle and controlled and we magically drifed in silence not too far above the savana as we watched the sun rise over the Masi Mara . Floating gently over the savana , forests and crossing the Mara River several times, Ali demonstrated his experience by dropping us low over the savana and river allowing us to see elephants, tophi, ostriches ,crocodiles and hippos as the balloon seemingly effortlessly rise as trees approached. A climb to height to give us a overview of the park before a really gentle landing 50 meters from the road where the ground crew were waiting for us to take us for breakfast completed our 17 km trip . The second half of this experience was equally impressive. 30-40 minutes later ,after stopping to photograph a beautiful marabou stork we arrived at the picnic spot , the site used to film "Out of Africa " . A table set under shade with stunning views over the park . We were served champagne, coffee, tea with juice and water available. 2 chefs from a kitchen area cooked eggs or omelettes on demand which you can mix with pre prepared waffles, pancake, sausage , bacon and beans . A table of fruit , muesli and yogurts along with toast and marmalade made the breakfast enjoyable and filling. Ali was friendly and informative as the group chatted about our adventure . A proper flushing toilet tent with associated wash basin, soap and hand towels took any other anxiety away . A magical experience with clearly very competent Pilot ,happy and friendly crew makes this a experience that you shouldn't miss . I would highly recommend.

Great time today - first experience on a hot air balloon and the weather was amazing. Easy to get in the basket, seats for everyone but we stood to see everything. We passed many of the animal residents in the area. Ehab was great - pointed out the sites, took a great video to remember it all, and had the most perfect landing. So smooth. We then went to have a bush breakfast and were greeted by the staff and welcome song. All around great experience - you do not want to miss out if you are in the Masai Mara.

This was a slow ride above the Masai Mara. Nothing like it! We were at peace, floated above the wildebeest at sunrise & got very close to elephants. It wasn’t scary at all yet I’m terrified of heights. Upon landing, we enjoyed breakfast in the bush cooked right in front of us as we sipped on mimosas. I can’t wait to do it again this year 🙂

What a spectacular experience! Captain Ali was an expert and our family of four including a nine year old had an amazing time seeing the Mara from a unique perspective. It is incredible to see the animals from up high and we saw giraffes, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and more! The champagne breakfast to round out the experience was amazing in its own right. All the staff are warm, friendly and incredible human beings. A memory to cherish and remember!
