What a WONDERFUL day! We purchased this full-day experience for our daughter’s birthday, who is an animal lover, and it was well worth it. We all enjoyed it so much.. Adam clearly loves what he does and kindly shared the loads of knowledge he has of all his birds.. the experience was so engaging! We loved learning about all the different characteristics of these lovely feathered creatures -and being able to get up close with them. It’s a great day out!.. Thanks Adam!

Had a Fabulous day out today, hubby was participating I went along as a spectator. Would highly this brilliant day out, the birds are beautiful to watch in the air and on the hand. Adam who runs the experience is wonderful with the birds very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for them. They are so chilled around him it’s great to see them together.

A good experience with knowledgeable falconer who obviously cared about his birds. Fantastic to see the birds working in their natural environment. Small groups allow plenty of interaction with these beautiful creatures.

We had the best day with Adam and his team (the birds!). It is truly an amazing and beautiful day out. The birds are breathtaking and Adam's passion and commitment to them is inspiring. The feeling when the hawk lands on your arm is humbling and we all left on cloud nine. Go, you won't regret it. 🦅

My wife treated me to a half day with Adam and his beautiful birds of prey. It was a truly amazing experience. The woodland walk and seeing the birds in their natural environment made it very special indeed. Adam was so passionate about his birds giving us endless facts about all his menagerie, that made for a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to book again.

I went on the half day experience which was a Father’s Day gift from my daughters and was about to expire. Adam was able to book me in straight away so off I went yesterday with my (slightly squeamish) partner as a spectator. There were just ourselves and another couple - who we didn’t know but were great company - doing the experience. We were greeted warmly by the Owner/Falconer Adam who owns all the birds he flies. Adam soon put everyone at ease with his great sense of humour and his enthusiasm for his (hobby) job. We set off for an hours walk through the woods with Cedar, a beautiful Harris Hawk that was so well trained and willingly flew to our gloved hand when offered a tasty tidbit. All the time Adam was giving us amazing information about the birds, his life and his love and dedication to his vocation. We next met Bramble, a lovely little Short Eared Owl that loved to sit on my head as we walked through the trees. Again Adam told us so much that we just didn’t know about this stunning little bird. Finally we got to meet Neo, a male Saker Falcon and the aerial display master of our experience. He would swoop and dive between us while chasing the lure Adam was expertly swinging for him. I loved every moment of the whole experience, as did my “slightly squeamish “ partner who was in awe of the birds and loved having Bramble perch on her head. Adam is a so passionate about his birds and his knowledge is second to none, he just fills you full of information and enthusiasm, in fact when we finished, my partner said to him “you just didn’t stop talking!” because he was so entertaining with his knowledge and great sense of humour. All in all a fantastic 2 hours spent in great company and in a beautiful location. I urge everyone to treat themselves to an amazing experience with Adam and his stunning birds at East Sussex Falconry.

I was given a 1/2 day experience which Adam very kindly honoured as it was with a previous company. What an incredible and amazing experience. Adam was so knowledgeable and interesting giving an incredible insight to falconry. For me, to walk through the woods with Cedar (Harris Hawk) and seeing his working partnership with Adam was truly great. Also, walking through the woods with Bramble (long eared owl) and finally seeing and experiencing the speed and power of Neo the Lanner Falcon. All so very different. Absolutely exceeded my expectations and I would happily recommend this experience, and Adam, to anyone. My wife accompanied me on the experience and was also similarly enthralled. I would like to do this experience again.

Absolutely fantastic day had flying with the team, Harris Hawks (Cedar & Blue), Long Eared Barn Owl (Bramble), Lanner Falcon (Neo), Barn Owl (Fig) and brother & sister Kites (Kimberley & Keanu), oh and our host Adam !. Spent the full day with the team learning all about their characters, how they hunt, their superb vision or lack of for the owls who make up with their awesome hearing. Learnt so much from Adam today it was trully an unforgetable day. Special thanks to Cedar being the first bird of prey i have had perched on my glove and feeding him.

The setting at Herstmonceux coupled with Adam’s expertise made our morning with the birds utterly unforgettable. Having visited with my Dad a few years back we wanted our whole family to experience falconry in this beautiful medieval landscape. Adam was engaging and patient, especially with our four year old son Kes. We walked with Cedar, a Harris hawk, through the mixed woodland observing his natural behaviour up in the trees, dodging darting, hunting as well as having him take food from our gloved hands. We visited the day enclosure and Adam introduced us to his owls, kites and most impressive of all, a falcon named Neo. Out in the open we watched as the falcon took to the air, so high up we lost sight. After a few minutes flying wild with the resident buzzards and peregrines, Adam’s skill with the lure brought Neo back down to earth with a fly by we’ll never forget! Thank you and we hope to return for another booking soon!

I have just had the best day, Adam is so friendly informative and professional with a nice sence of humour. I would 100 % reccomend this to anyone it is so lovely to be able to get so close to various birds of prey and watch then in action. Adam and his team show the various talents and skills these birds have. Adam has an excellent knowledge of falconry which he is happy to share making the trip very informative. I loved each of the birds and they all have different personalities making it very hard to have a favorite, if I really had to choose I would say Cedar is very clever is happy to show what he is capable of and was happy to spend some time on the glove for some amazing pictures.
