The three heritage cottages on Schalkenbosch Wine Estate are fully equipped, self-catering units that sleep 2 adults each. Each cottage has a full bathroom, kitchen, living room with fireplace, and private braai area. The Schalkenbosch vineyards are situated high up on the slopes of the Witzenberg mountain range overlooking the picturesque Tulbagh valley. The soils are similar to those found in the Rhone Valley in France and the vineyards enjoy a unique micro-climate. A late sunrise is due to the shadow of the mountain.

The farm Vrolikheid has been my home for 26 years and horses, my passion, which led to Tulbagh Horse Trails. We do scenic out rides on our 271h working fruit farm. Our rides are save for all levels of riders. Our horses are special and each has a unique story and personality.Vrolikheid is located within easy reach, about an hour from Cape Town and 45min from Worcester. Accommodation is available.
