    Perfect for relaxing
    The Villa estancia is perfect for a quiet relaxing vacation. The staff are amazing, the facilities are wonderful (make sure to go to spa) Roberto and Miguel were great. The food is delicious the pool is wonderful and tranquil. It is so peaceful

    This resort is the best in the area. The service on this visit was outstanding-twice a day maid service and beach attendants. The help of Omar, the bell man and the front desk help of Isela were appreciated. We like being close to Bucerías for dinner. We will return next year.

    Villa del Palmar has activities for children. There are several restaurants on site- from sushi bar,taco bar , pizza/pasta and El Patron. There is an excellent steak house La Casona next door at Villa La Estancia-allow yuorself to be pampered there

    We just booked and opted for not doing all inclusive. Can you tell me how to get to Bucerias (or any other restaurants that may be near by), and also, as an American, would we be ok eating at the local restaurants? Would you recommend only cooked food, so no salsa or salads? Anyone suggest eating at the resort itself or the resort next door - especially thinking breakfast or lunch ? Thanks. We are a couple in our mid 50s
    You can eat everything, but we still drink only bottled water. The hotel supplies plenty, so you never have to buy.

    The restaurant in the hotel is top notch for breakfast and dinner. If you want to go somewhere else for a meal in Bucerias or Puerto Vallarta or the mall in Nuevo Vallarta, you can take a cab. We take cabs from the hotel everywhere and never have a problem. We never ate at the hotel next door and either ate breakfast at the hotel or at the pancake restaurant at the mail. We ate dinner at the hotel several times and it was outstanding. Other than that we went to restaurants we like in PV or Bucerias. There is a outdoor lunch place by the pool if you desire. Or you can cook in the kitchen of your suite. Large kitchen with fridge, stove,dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer.

    All inclusive option, is it worth it? We have 2 adults, a 9 and 11 year old. Thx
    Hi! We did all inclusive with our teenage girls and it was worth it for us. We were only there 3 days though and had not planned to leave the property. Any longer and we probably would not have done AI. The service was great. Just make sure you tip. :-)

    Hi, This place sounds great except for the hard sell on the timeshare. Can we find a way to bypass that so we can just enjoy our stay? Also, anyone have comments on the food? Our kids are picky eaters.
