The site is absolutely amazing. The hotel absolutely too expensive for the comfort and services they propose. There is no place within the hotel where to sit comfortably (and I really mean any seat, chair or sofa)... so you end up to be in a rush to finish your meal because you are not comfortably seated ( a shame). The hotel has “great” development projets that will take away the real nature of the place. They should go back to the essential: descent bathrooms, comfortable bed (we were even more tired after 6 days than when we got there...awful matress), air conditionning (regrettable). On the restaurant side, breakfast is ok the first days and then you realize that is always the same, cakes defrozen last minute and cold, fruits not always nice... not so much of a choice... et don’t dare to get there at 9.55... they close the door at 10. Very sad! Lunch and dinner are ok. But they always miss something, they do not have enough for all clients, or always have an excuse to serve something you did not ask for... frozen fish without being informed! Again very sad All employees are very nice and available which is a very good and positive aspect but that does not balance all carences in term of hospitality. Hope they will improve the existing and not turning into a luxury exclusive hotel (it is expensive enough) for people that will never understand the magic of the site and will end up to spend their days in an eventual swimming pool that would ruin the property and his charm. “Mind the gap!”

It is a wonderful place, a hidden treasury, great food and courtesy, totally immersed in the nature. Infinite beach, endless sea, almost no one around you. One of the most relaxing things is that there are no TV, no swimming pool, no music on the beach, no spa, mobile phones and WiFi not working very well: and all this is super. The rooms need some renovation but please keep the original Sardinian, simple flavor. Please, avoid these horrible minimalist rooms, with white walls, white furniture and concrete floor. Unfortunately I heard the owners want to create a swimming pool, a spa and possibly create more rooms. Please don't do that! Don't destroy this paradise. I do hope that local administrators will never give the permissions to ruin this dreamy place with a swimming pool and a spa.

If you want to give yourselves a special life-time experience, staying here is a MUST! Hidden amongst the largest sand dunes of Europe, this classic-style hotel zaps you into a relaxed state of mind, with calming sea air, great personalized service (the bartender remembered our names from first moment), excellent food at the restaurant with impeccable service. We also enjoyed at night the lovely common bar area to sit and relax with a drink, play games, read or chat to other guests. Rooms were basic, oddly enough, and the bed was okay but not great, but honestly, who cares? The whole experience was fantastic. The boardwalk to beach was lovely and make sure to climb the sand dunes for the view and you may see some wild deer as we did. I hope to go back here one . day but for longer next time. We just can't say how much this place meant to us - fantastic!

In the middle of the dunes, on the beach, there is this unique hotel. The rooms shows some sign of ageing but that is not important. The location is superb with a beach long kilometers and the sunset show performed everyday. The service is top both at the concierge and the restaurant. They offer two kind of kitchen in the same restaurant, classic or gourmet. The gourmet is top.

The hotel is located in one of the best scenery in italy. An amazing beach with high dunes. The hotel is a boutique hotel very well appointed, the details are truly treated in a perfect way (from the stairs that brings you to second floor, or for example the wood fireplace, or the bar inside the hotel). Rooms are simple but cozy (you don't have TV). The culinary offer is outstanding. you eat and drink very well

Dear PietroVarese, many thanks for the review on your stay in Piscinas: we are very pleased to read that you appreciated both the location and the hotel. The scenary that you describe is really one of the most beautiful in Italy and in the world; also according to National Geographic, which considers Piscinas among the 20 most beautiful beaches on the planet. And the Hotel, with its shale environments and the mighty buttresses on the outside in stone and plaster, remarks its symbiosis with the nature of the surrounding landscape. Our rooms are certainly simple but not without comfort and in any case it would have been impossible to keep our guests in the room rivaling the sober richness and magic that the Piscinas sunsets can offer. We are also very satisfied for your opinion on the new gastronomic proposal that many satisfactions are offering us this season: both in the Dune hotel restaurant and in the dishes of the more refined Rosso Tramonto, directly on the beach of Piscinas and in front of the sea, we offer a careful Mediterranean cuisine starting only from first choice materials coming from the territory, treated with great skill and respect by our young Chef Vincenzo Vaccaro. We really hope to be able to host you again soon in Le Dune, for a wonderful new holiday.
